Pretty much stripes every shot on that aiming line. How the guy guessed his handicap was just that. I would have been very suspect of a guy coming in and filming like they were.

Summer picnic foods. To go with that watermelon........

I’ve not really tried any PM stuff, but I do wear a lot of RLX & Greyson. Similar? Heritage specifically?

@chisag Coach Sam, we were talking about the head position in the swing staying down past impact correct? Look at wee man, he's already figured that out. Incredible.

I just had my fitting and was put into the T150s 5-GW. He recommended going 2 degrees weak as I didn’t need more distance and need more height and steeper descent angle. The shaft was the Stiff AMT Silver. I didn’t have an issue with it but I’m not the best at discerning the differences. He did have me try a few others but I didn’t really pay attention, I wanted the results to make the choice for me. My current gamers are the Apex CB 24s and the feeling was quite different. The CBs feel like softer/mushy when hit well. The T150 felt good when hit well but clicky when I thinned them. They were more forgiving as well. There were a few that were a little heavy and I really didn’t lost that much distance. I was able to go from a descent angle of 43 to 48 and was able to get my spin up. I play the TSR 1 hybrid in a 23 and 26 for my 3 and 4 irons. Which is why there was no blended recommendation. Hope this helps.

Interesting post, @JKreborn . A few of the places listed by you have been pointed out for the OPPOSITE experience for unaccompanied (but sponsored, I assume) guests by someone I know. Glad to hear that you had a great experience at those places.

Scottie Scheffler has near the same setup as you, though he uses 105g in the Nippon GOST. 105g is a good driving iron weight for those with iron sets in the 120-130 range. The big three shafts I seem to always see are: AD DI (Hybrid) KBS Prototype Nippon GOST If you prefer firmer handle sections with descending stiffness, KBS and LA Golf are your best bet. AD DI and Nippon will have firm handles but tip sections slightly firmer than middle sections. Where as Ventus Blue is the reverse blueboard--soft handle, stiff tip. Either way, I recommend 105 over 125in a 3u. I bet your "go after it" feeling will go away after moving to 105g.

About 10 years ago one of my regular playing partners passed out during the club championship during the first week of August here in East Texas, last day of 3 of sweltering heat, on the 17th hole. He was near the lead as the day started but as the back nine progressed he went down hill. Said he was feeling fine but he was losing his game. On 17 while driving his cart he just passed out, and fell out of the moving cart in the middle of the fairway. They had to call EMS, and they drove down the fairway to come get him. He was mid 50s at the time, and ever since he is very careful in the heat about hydration, etc.,

I just won one of these in a raffle. Will try it out tonight or tomorrow and post a quick initial review.

Yes, imprecise or possibly just wrong lol. Likely a 9i shaft (though I’m not sure). Played irons with PX 6.0 and 6.5 previously. When I built them a few years ago it was from reading the 8i spinner post. (Thanks btw!) after experimenting with S400, 120 x100, and others, I found my way back to these. Seem to work well with the TZI I have now mainly trying to say the regular PX shafts can work for some in wedges. May not be a need to go with a different dedicated “wedge shaft”

As @El Gringo said, the best 36 hole option is Dunluce at Portrush, then make the 15 minute drive to play The Strand course at Portstewart. -
Looks like I was way off on the meaning of "strip centre",,,

... Unfortunately I know why my swing gets out of whack but fixing it is another story. I have a degenerative disc and have had two surgeries. The pieces of my disc that broke off were pressing against my spinal cord and had some nerve damage. So when it is slipping just a little, my ligaments and muscles tense up to protect the disc and my left leg loses any feel. That all sounds a little worse than it actually is but when it happens I can't have much seperation between my hips and shoulders and everything wants to turn together as one unit. That produces a different kind of swing that is much more arm driven because I can;t turn my hips through impact while keeping my shoulders square to the line. They all just turn together and I have figured out how to make that work but it also ingrains some bad muscle memory and it can be difficult to ignore what my body wants to do to protect itself and do what my golf swing needs my body to do. ... So basically everything gets put of whack and I have to depend on my short game. The other option is not playing and that really isn't an option for me. So when I am able to clear that muscle memory and swing my natural swing it is so much easier as my hips and shoulders are working together and not fighting each other. Now like everyone that plays this game there are some days when my natural swing with no back issues gets a little out of sync and the round is a bit of a struggle, but that usually doesn't last more than one or two rounds. Glad to hear your vertigo is under control as I can't imagine playing golf like that! -

Has anyone tried a left handed LAB press grip in a standard right handed putter? Believe this would enable the hands to be slightly forward like in a forward press, with the grip at a forward angle but the shaft to still be vertical and loft remains the same. Just curious if anyone has experimented with it?
