  1. I am debating the same thing. I used 9.5 for a year or so and full contact did get slick. Have to wipe it down every round. I was going to go cord but I bought it earlier this month so have to wait about a week...
  2. Love the Epon Zen. Proudly displayed to show that I cannot putt with that thing. Super soft and love the milling, on the wall. LOL
  3. My setup is working nicely for me: GT2 16.5 A1 - Ventus Red 7x GT2 21 C1- Ventus Red 7x GT1 23 B1 - AD-HY 85x GT1 26 B1 - AD-HY 95x I want to put little hotmelt to quiet GT1 to more like GT2 but haven't gotten to it. It seems like crown is little tinny. If anyone did either sole, crown or both, your feedback would be appreciated!
  4. I will be pulling the original shaft and putting in MC X-firm tomorrow or Thursday. I will post once I do.
  5. Pull the shaft and realigned it. I must admit that I am impressed with the feel of this putter. As fan of old Scotty and current Betti, I always wanted the AOP feel in the mallet with 350+ head. Betti has the softness but I struggle with being short on putts. I like the 9.5 for distance and was great help to my yips but the it has the click. This milling is pretty darn close on mat. I was pretty disappointed with the other stuff but I love the shape and probably resthaft put a full contact grip.
  6. Same age same ss but not a scratch, horrible putter. I went to GT2 7w and I love this thing. When I was at the shop, they had GT1 hybrid 23 and just out of curiosity I pulled it out of the rack. It looked just like GT2 but smaller. i ended up getting it, put in the AD-HY 85X I had and I ended up with a 9w that went the same height and 10-15 yard carry distance. Sound is definitely different but planning on putting a little bit of hotmelt in. I also went ahead and got the 26 for fun but GT1 23 is so fun to use for me and with very controllable distance , I probably could go 7W-23-6 iron and add a wedge but I like my set up right now so I plan on rotating the 26 with 5 iron (T350 bent to 25)
  7. You are absolutely right. I compared to club cameron, it seems like same material. Not going to game the cover.
  8. I feel they did something to the matador. It seems light and hollow. I used to game the original matador and I remember feeling solid in the hand with plenty of feel. HC seems cheaper then my 9.5. It feels lighter and material seems like same cover from 90's Cameron.
  9. Grip is cheap. Swing weight seems light, grip not on straight. I like the shape of the head so I'm looking around my shaft box for a black shaft and I will need to regrip to my liking.
