Ha. True. But i always keep Titleist to the end of it’s life cycle. Just traded the 2023 T350 this week.

I went from prior T350 to T250 this time. Biggest performance improvement to me was in dispersion and ball flight. The 250 just went to much straighter. Could be the shaft as well MMT 85g vs SF80g. Distance is maybe a tick longer. Bag appeal is out of this world better.

No a PGA Designation doesn’t require you to give lessons. But many young guys just starting out will do for the extra income. Thanks for clarifying a few things i was a bit off on.

Passing the PAT—Players Ability Test shows you have a better than most ability to play the game. Completing the whole curriculum takes at least 4 years and costs several thousand dollars. As others have said there is no law that you have to be PGA to teach. Some management/ownerships will require it snd some won’t want to pay the higher salary that a PGA will demand. Not sure if that answers your question or not.

No, not at a “semi private” you get things like advance booking window, shop credit and likely F&B and merchandise discounts. Semi Privates still operate on Tee Times—at least all the ones my company do.

Also consider the T250* Spec Launch the weaker lofts will help spin and the max impact will help those thin hits

Ok our swing speeds are miles apart. Like 30 mph apart. And I have a SF405 In R in my 9.0 GT2. my miss is pretty much the same. My fiitter/coach calls is a gapper to RC. Je’s a former college BB player 😬 But it’s totally playable on all but the tightest holes or in case of a sharp dogleg left. normal fligjt is straight to a 5 yard fade. Not sure that’s relative to you. But both AF and Titleist heads. It’s been the main driver in my bag for over a yesr now. That’s saying something!’

During my fitting the 250 and 350 sounded the same. Rhey are the exact same head/construction.

This is exactly what they did with my T250 at + 1/2” I’ve experienced the same improvements in ball striking as well. As you said, it’s a game chsmger in them being able to dial in a fitting.

I have a 7 iron with an Axiom shaft sitting in our cart. Why? Just because 🙂 But honestly I'm so happy with the T250, there is no logical reason to hit send!

They do perform as great as they look. I won't rehash for the 3rd time how great mine have been in the first couple rounds, you can read my posts on the previous page to see. But I am 100% satisfied

Yeah, I think the 245 comp is pretty accurate.

I'll take the other side of that. I've had the T250's in play for two league rounds in the past week. One is a Senior league playing form the Golds, the other is from the whites and predominantly guys 20 to 30 years younger than me. I've cashed both weeks, and I didn't cash in either of those leagues at all last year. I've honestly never hit irons this well, since I had the I5's in 2005?

Thanks for all that! Yeah, I have a bit of experience with the app from when I had the R10. I could export the data but it was a bit of work to do so. As for the grass tee comment, I have heard that from some others, I just haven't seen another camera based system that does as much as the R50. Like the GC3s but it lacks a lot of the club data that the R50 proides. I do split time between mats and grass.

Thanks @Streuner Good Info. My use would be 99% range, split maybe 40% on grass and 60% on mats. But also taking on course so that I can use real balls, to get data. To clarify when I say on course, I don't' mean an actual round 🙂 I work at a course with 36 holes. 3 to 4 days a week we always have one 9 shut down from about 1 to 5 pm, blocked off for leagues in the evening. So I just jump in a cart from my office, and head out to either a par 3 if I'm working on irons or a nice weide par 4/5 if working on driver. Set up hit maybe a dozen balls at a time, go collect them and repeat once or twice. So I'm guessing in that scenario it wouldn't' be too cumbersome to take out. When on the range, it's about 50 yards from my office, so again not a long walk. We are on grass from May to October (except for after heavy rains) then on Mats from October to May. We do get cold and snow in the winter, but there's always at least a week or so each month during the Jan/Feb where it's passable enough to hit balls Two specific questions based on what I've read: When you are hitting balls in the practice mode, can you scroll back and view previous shots during the session, or do you lose that data once you hit a new shot. I know it can be stored on the garmin app. But can you refer back to other shots right there on the spot. Internet connection, when practicing on the range, do you have to have it connected to the internet for it to save/sync the shots. Or could I just keep the unit on, walk back to my office and do the synching there before turning it off. Appreciate all the info.
