  1. Had to disagree and there isn't a single person who says they "hate this" (which we can) who wouldn't have cashed out for hundreds of millions.
  2. A list of companies that PE firms have improved for the customer:
  3. I see him as a guy, performance wise, who could be a total red-a**. Not comparing fashion. I only look at birdie rate.
  4. I've captained several successful Ryder Cup teams in golf league and know the importance of vibe. Jake Knapp's California Surfer VIBE is what's needed. Keith Mitchell would immediately become our Poulter - the dude OOOOOZES country club vibes and the visor is elite. I know what I'm doing here.
  5. I'd basically just look at birdie rate to pick guys. Top 6: Scheffler Schauffele Spaun Dechambeau Henley English Picks: JT Jake Knapp Michael Thorbjornsen Cashmere Keith Colin Morikawa Akshay Bhatia Griffin/McNealy
  6. "He's not playing good [well]" He just posted the lowest final 54 holes in Open history.
  7. Despite the Maltby's having slightly weaker lofts, my experience is that they play basically the same, if not a yard or two longer. Not sure if that has to do with the placing of the tungsten weight being more directly behind the ball in the Maltby's or because they have less offset, but just feel SOLID. Even on a toe hit, I could tell it was off the toe, but didn't lose nearly as much distance as I do with my Mizunos.
  8. 6.6 Index Just to give some background on my iron set progression, I only change them every 5-6 years - went from some 2008 Taylor Made Tour Preferred to Callaway CB16 and moved into the Mizuno JPX 921 Forged in 2021 (KBS Tour 110 R shaft). Had recently considered building a set as just a project and had looked at various DTC irons, usually with the skeptical eye that most have around not having a "name" in the bag - what's the quality like, etc. Started looking at the Maltby's with an eye on the TS1s, since they basically seemed like a version of the Taylor Made P790s, but the TS4s were too good looking to pass up and Maltby even markets them as "Super Game Improvement (PF701+) design" and the YouTube reviews were all very positive, even confirming that off-center hits seem to lose little, if any distance. Figured I'd take a flyer on a set and finally gamed them yesterday and was blown away. They feel better than any iron I've gamed, look outstanding, and even though I'm not cost conscious, the idea of ever dropping $1,300+ on a set of stock irons ever again is ludicrous. I kept costs minimal (<$600) for 5-GW just throwing in the stock True Temper Score LT shaft in stiff and honestly see no reason (for me) to look for a different shaft at this point. If you're in the market for new irons, do yourself a favor and order 1 club to try - they really are phenomenal.
  9. The fact that, after doing that and presumably having a minute to reflect on it before leaving the premises, he didn't immediately go to the locker room attendant and say "I lost my cool, I apologize, and I will pay for all repairs and donate $5,000 to your junior program (or something like that) is mind boggling.
  10. As it should be handled. In fact, I would have just banned him outright and said he was not ever allowed on the premises again.
  11. Is the sole on the TE+ milled like the TS4? I just got a set of TS4s and maybe looking to swap out the 5 iron
  12. Just rent clubs and not be a drama queen about it on the internet if your clubs are lost.
  13. Hope he wasn't planning to play a few rounds before The Open!
