  1. Agree. I also think the view on substances is generational. People 50yrs and older grew up with targeted ad campaigns saying how cannabis made you crazy, lazy and potentially a serial killer hahaha. Of course, in this day and age, we all know who was behind those campaigns, as it has been exposed, but the residue is still present. Overall, for me it goes back to enjoy whatever you'd like on the course as long as you keep pace of play and don't affect anyone else on the course. Most importantly, don't become impaired to the point where you can't legally drive your car home at the end of the round.
  2. Anyone who gets that wasted on a course shouldn't be out there, 100% agree. With that said it's not a good reason to not allow pot on the golf course in states where it's legal which is a huge swath of the country. I don't partake on the course so my opinion is not self-serving, but there are way more guys who get wasted on the course with alcohol, and that's not going anywhere.
  3. Congrats Richard. I've been here a minute so I've seen the evolution of this place. The mission has never changed so kudos to you and the team.
  4. I agree, but the game is light years different from what it was when Hogan and Nicklaus were playing. It wasn't a global game; they didn't have social media, and they didn't even have the internet. There is so much competition on tv with cable, apps, etc.. they have to entertain people to keep up viewership. I don't fault Scotty for being who he needs to be to win. But making comments on how boring it is to win tourneys isn't great for the brand.
  5. They are having a big influence in the marketplace no doubt. Not sure i'd say it's their tech, considering low and zero torque has been around in putters for decades by companies like Edel and Axis. But they are certainly the reason for it's popularity and rise to fame.
  6. Most likely already happening with him at the top.
  7. I have the Ping I230 5-8 then Blueprint S in 9,PW then S159 wedges. The way I set the bag up is the 9 and pw are wedges I'm my mind that help transition to the S159's from the I230's. Love the setup
  8. Face on would help. Be interested to see how much you are moving laterally in transition. It looks like at transition your right side collapses getting the club under plane. This can sometimes mean improper weight shift / rotation. You also look a little close to the ball.
  9. I feel the same about the ZT. So far I think it's the best ZT putter on the market in terms of design and especially feel. The pure roll insert provides great feedback and distance control as well.
  10. I met AK in his prime and he wasn't the best human being but I also understood he was a young guy that had a boatload of Nike cash. Can't say I wouldn't have been the same way under the same circumstances. With that said he's not at the professional level and to be honest he wouldn't compete at the top amateur level either. Maybe he will find something, maybe he won't but Im happy he got a second chance with a clear head. It's a win for him and a win for LIV.
  11. Previous bounces weren't published because most people would lose their mind seeing 35* of bounce on a wedge despite needing it. The industry got people used to seeing 10 or 12 when in reality those were all made up bounce values. Vokey, Cleveland, doesn't matter. David wasn't against it but instead more of a sales thing. Bounce numbers on the new wedges I believe, are effective bounce. I understand what you're saying about overall and effective bounce but that would confuse 99.9999% of golfers so it's not done. Companies have to cater to the masses and they already don't understand grind and bounce as it is.
  12. The new line was designed to make more sense throughout the loft and grind offerings. Also, the inclusion of bounce was important for players with varying AOA. They are better in every way compared to the previous SMS wedge.
