It is ok. Cleaned up as per above. They redid the greens - but really it was a recut and some minor reno. it is not in “rough shape”; but don’t expect it to be any more than it is.

RMR is - mish mash of holes strung together. There is no real continuity and the obligatory Dye features strewn about. There are holes packed in close to homes. Conditions are always all over the place..:bare patches to over grown grass; some greens good others patchy. The par 3s are actually ok. My stance is if you find a round on the $30s(maybe not any more) it is worth the play.

Had the chance to play early rounds at Scarecrow course…DMK’s new design. Such a fun course. In reminiscing, I would love to play it every day of the week with all the different pin placements. A different course style from Gamble, in that if you miss(hard to do), you will suffer a few penalty strokes. Where the course shines is in the greens, lots of ways to play, drives me par 4s, reachable par 5s with good lines. really enjoyed it and it is a nice addition to make GS a destination.

Everywhere. Throughout was hit with a bad fungus. The course staff ignored early signs and it bit them hard.

Just an fyi, Sand Hollow is absolute trash condition right now….so know that or drop. Maybe keep getting updates…but as of Friday it is not worth playing

Thank you a mil! The plan is to get a few rounds in while still doing fun stuff for my better half! No connection—i am competing on a national final event there (ams). Hoping someone does have a connection. If you happen to be available maybe you can get out with me for a round. My bh doesnt play, so the round with the package will be available. if nothing else, maybe I can buy you a beer and a snack! First time in the area so I am more than excited to learn, explore and make the most of it! I will send you a note as it gets closer.

Are you talking about May River in PB? I will be staying on the south of Sea Pines but going out to play Chechessee one day. I wouldnt mind getting another really good round in.
