  1. Having said any of this the guy is a true gentleman, and you would not wish what happened to his family for your worst enemies. Since this is his WITB lets get back to it, it is an awesome bag and wishing him all the best every single time he tees off.
  2. By not living in a 400k house I meant, it is much more than that.
  3. Believe me or not, but I've met Camilo multiple times and know someone who knows him very well. And let me tell you that he is not living in a 400k house.
  4. @eric61 ^ exactly that. I played the non tour gt1 15 and it was so good other than spin, have the gt1tour on order, but always thought a 5 wood would be so good with that performance. I know there are tour pros gaming gt1 5 and 7 woods so clearly its not too big for them, but I play my 5 wood at 41.25 and when I put my shaft on the gt1 5 wood it just looked massive, as a lefty it's hard to demo one, I am pretty sure I can get over the size if the performance is there. I tried a TSr3 5 wood and liked how versatile it is, but the toe strikes just dipped in spin so much that it was longer than a 3 wood with the high launch low spin flight. Maybe ill pull a trigger and get a gt1 5 and see how it goes.
  5. Thanks for this. I wish it was just a little smaller. Not sure why they didn’t make them progressive in size.
  6. In case anyone cares the new utilities are now 0.370 hosel diameter.
  7. How did you find the GT1 5 wood head size? I believe they are all the same CC size and it just looked a little big for a 5 wood didnt bother you at all?
  8. 7i shaft feels (at least to me) an exact blend of white and black that I like. It's funny how feels are to everyone. I really like S300 but just too heavy, but yet I HATE DG 120 S300. AMT White was good but again found it too heavy, AMT black was actually good but at times felt too whippy. I ordered a 46 vokey with the AMT silver ill see how that goes.
  9. To me red felt like the OG but smoother and livelier tip. Where to me the io feels nothing like the OG. The io (at least to me) is one of the best feeling shafts I’ve had. I can definitely get used to the red.
  10. That is correct Like I said, or if not said, I'm not expecting to be able to show up and play any time I want. If I show up and there aren't any tee times I do not expect myself to be able to go and play. But I do expect myself to be able to play 3-5 times a week in the evening when you specifically ask the course before you pay 8K up front, how many leagues are there and the response is "we have 1 league a week for 2 months". I have already played 115 times this year (times not rounds, some of my rounds are 5 holes and some are 18 and anything in between). I have a ton of connections in town where I can get on quite a few other courses. So I really am fine with the amount of golf that I play, however I have seen this from both sides at my club as a "member" and other clubs as "league player". I know an older gentleman who doesn't have millions, and 8K to him is quite a bit of money and he has gotten into arguments with the course (not the league members, even though it might seem like he is out there to take on league) where he is told 1 thing upon purchasing the membership and receiving a completely different experiences once the 8k left his account. Again he IS NOT EXPECTING to play 7 days a week at night but expects to play it more than 3 and now he can't due these leagues. What goes around comes around, with money being squeezed out of the economy golf will experience a decline eventually, everything runs in cycles and then they will be begging for players like him to join and have that upfront cash flow. My club has a board and again reason they doubled in price is to have more open times for members, but with so many members dropping out they realized they have a lot more open slots in the evenings which was a selling point to some, which is now being filled by leagues. They could be members, but majority are not members, at least the ones that are hosted at my club. These leagues are there to make money as well. They buy out bulk tee times and resell them as "league", at the end of the day it is nothing but a wholesale price.
  11. I just ordered a Vokey 46 with the shaft I was fit for. I want to compare it to my existing PW setup with my current shafts and then decide.
