My heart says putter but the stats say short irons. Approach proximity has the largest correlation with score.

I’ll give him a 17% rate for the next 5 years and 1 more after that. Maintain his current rate and then 1 more in his later years like Jack, Tiger, and Phil. So 8-9 total. -
Xander has made 69 straight cuts. He’s arguably more consistent than Scheffler in that sense, which sounds kinda crazy. Had in injury in there too.

I like measuring quantity of wins, top 10s, and cuts made. So if Rory ran off a couple wins in a row, and dominated in the Ryder cup, while Scottie missed a cut or 2, I’d probably vote for Rory. I think we overvalue the majors a touch these days.

Morikawa isn’t inspiring me. If he has a couple more T50s or missed cuts, and finishes about 8th, I’d be tempted to ride a hot hand instead.
