  1. Thanks. Couldn't find it originally but have found it now.
  2. i must admit I've never been happy with the 'exceptions' to this rule. I was never really convinced that they were needed.
  3. When I try to Edit a post via the 3 dots (top right) I get a small red word 'REQUIRED' and although I enter text I can't post it. It was OK yesterday. Any help would be appreciated. Puzzled. It seems to be working now I think. IT IS but I don't know why????
  4. See my corrected post above. I thought I had added 6.2 to the original but it seems not to have worked.
  5. 4.3a. Allowed and Prohibited Uses of EquipmentA player may use equipment to help his or her play during a round, except that a player must not create a potential advantage by: Using equipment (other than a club or a ball) that artificially eliminates or reduces the need for a skill or judgment that is essential to the challenge of the game, ....
  6. A ball is always treated as lying in only one area of the course: If part of the ball is in both the general area and one of the four specific areas of the course, it is treated as lying in that specific area of the course.
  7. Where do you draw the line? 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1.5", 2", 3"?
  8. Side Two or more partners competing as a single unit in a round in match play or stroke play. Each set of partners is a side, whether each partner plays their own ball (Four-Ball) or the partners play one ball (Foursomes). A side is not the same as a team. In a team competition, each team consists of players competing as individuals or as sides.
  9. How do you differentiate between whether or not the lie has improved? Has the player been 'advantaged' by playing from the wrong place?
  10. I wonder if the thread title should start with the word 'May' as opposed to 'Can'.
  11. The video shows him using a club to move the ball. Edit: I have downloaded the video again and have got a completely different video. Ignore my previous comment.
  12. Who administers your handicaps? Or do you not use handicaps on that course?
