I’m not as experienced as Howard or Stuart but I’ve always run a strip of lead tape on the underside of the shaft to increase shaft weight. It seems to make the most sense if you want to recreate a heavier shaft rather than running a circle around one specific point and it looks better.

Why did you keep going lighter with your graphite shafts?

I flat out hated the old M-05 (TE, etc.) I hit them straight up in the air. I went back to the Maltbys with the KE4 Tour, which has a much higher COG followed by the TS4 and TS1-IM and their higher COG are MUCH better for me.

As someone else mentioned, there are some Kelmac grips on EBay at a good price. I was going to buy them, but I bought a few new/old stock Golf Pride Cord Wrap and they were pretty slick from aging and didn’t want to take that chance.
