Looking forward to this report. Locally we have hard bunkers that are basically just generic dirt instead of true bunker sand. They compact very easily so I have always been concerned about the higher bounce.

Find a cheap set on eBay to start and if he really takes to the game there are tons of good jr sets out there.

Amen to this comment. My local PGASS has none of the current Srixon woods or drivers. Hard to check out a product you have no access to.
