  1. 2025 Acura MDX and they easily fit straight across. I also looked at the BMW X5, but the clubs would only go in at an angle, not across. Having to put the clubs in at an angle in a premium full-sized SUV is unforgiveable design.
  2. Is the comment about overpaying an opinion or fact?
  3. Anybody else have any experience comparing these two drivers?
  4. I went to all three days of the practice rounds in the last two years before they went to the lottery back in the early 1990s. You could just show up at the gate and buy tickets. It was great. I've applied for tickets in the lottery each year since and have never won. 0 for 30 something. I suspect it's because they might have me on video urinating onto one of the azalea bushes in the woods to the right of the 10th hole's fairway. Kind of near where Bubba hit his impossible shot. Wait...that's a secret. Don't tell them. I mean, it was late in the day...the sun had set...I had had a few...we were heading back to the clubhouse after a long day of walking and watching...hardly anybody left on the course...I thought, what's the harm? Plus how many people have ever gotten away with doing that on that course? I figure that puts me in the second most exclusive Masters club (the winners' club being the most exclusive).
  5. She is the Paul Azinger of LPGA broadcasting. The dislike is valid.
  6. I'm with you on Kizner. He adds no value. Faxon does a much better job of being the analyst.
  7. If his putter is hot going into the Ryder Cup, then yes he should pick himself. It's all about which team makes the most putts, and he needs to choose whoever is on a putting hot streak.
  8. Ironically, Brooks has become one of the players that others don't have to worry about possibly winning the majors. "There's 156 (players) in the field, so you figure at least 80 of them I'm just going to beat," Koepka said. "From there, you figure about half of them won't play well, so you're down to maybe 35. And then from 35, some of them just - pressure is going to get to them. It only leaves you with a few more, and you've just got to beat those guys."
  9. Still not sure how a caddie is responsible for a tour player playing good or bad and how changing caddies will improve their game. They carry the bag, give the yardages, clean the balls and clubs, and tend the pin. It's the player who hits the shot.
  10. I liked him as an announcer and remember when he got an incurable case of the hooks while on tour.
  11. A better way to think about LIV is that it's the Saudi Arabian Tour. So we have the PGA, DP World Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, Asian Tour, etc., and the Saudi Arabian Tour. And if they were to play four rounds of golf in a non-team format like all the other official tours do, the players could qualify to be ranked in the OWGR. The OWGR doesn't need to bend the rules to try and include them, they have to conform to the rules to be ranked. Pretty simple...
  12. Ok, fess up. Which of you WRXers is the guy doing Zac Blair's driver fitting at Golf Galaxy thinking he's a 1 handicap and that you can beat him? 😊 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DMeUHFzNK2l/

    G440 irons

The G440s are very good. Ergo, nobody is trying to sell them. Having owned all three: The 425s had good left-right dispersion, but were short. The 430s added distance, but worsened the left-right dispersion. The 440s are the best of both, long and good left-right dispersion.
  14. In the video, he has very little pelvis turn, but a large shift to the left side on the backswing relative to how short a shot he has to hit. I’ve tried it and it works very well but does take a lot of practice to ingrain the proper feeling. What is the better way to do this with the same good results?
  15. My Texas wedge is my best shot around the green. I never blade it or chunk it.
  16. Look how he starts moving to his left side on the backswing. This is the move that rescued Victor Hovland's chipping and the key to making solid contact.
  17. Interesting. I would think that your "full right hand grip" would lead to even more of a hook unless you were purposely holding-off on the downswing.
  18. Assuming you can putt the ball straight then, yes, putting is mostly about green reading.
  19. Perhaps, but Tiger had world class hand to eye coordination. Most duffers don't and would be better off on moving the body correctly and forgetting about the hands. Once they have that down, maybe then start incorporating a hand-based swing into the motion. Interestingly, many of the pros who Blackburn has coached do not swing the way he recommends in that article. They have one piece takeaways. What he's recommending looks a lot like what Ledbetter teaches. I tried it once with horrible results. But then again, I don't have world class hand to eye coordination.
  20. The Cool Clubs guys say it's a unicorn based on their testing.
