  1. The most annoying thing is people that pull/park golf carts just off the cart path at tee boxes and greens!! There's a reason why there's no grass left in that spot!! It ain't a parking space!! Stay on the path.
  2. I use ShipSticks now. So much easier!
  3. Rain gloves!!! They work best when wet. It's a win win situation. When it gets really bad in central Florida I'll wear one on each hand. I played 2 days ago at 100 degrees and 115 feel like. No problems with the rain gloves.
  4. Chrysler 300. Full cart bag and Stewart X9 Cart fits in the trunk.
  5. I just did one as well. Just used the hand tool and solvent. Came right off.
  6. To my untrained eye it appears your right hip to moving hard toward the ball on the downswing. Will lead to shanks.
  7. Just forget increasing the number of birdies. Stats will tell you that even a scratch golfer only birdies about 1 hole per round. Bogey avoidance is more doable and needed for lower rounds. No 3 putts No doubles No penalties No 6s on your card (par or better on par5s) Lower scores equals playing boring golf. And it's very very true as we get older.
  8. I had an airline break the wheels. SKB requested a picture, to identify the correct wheels, and immediately sent a full set of new wheels and related hardware with no questions asked! Great customer service.
  9. DeSoto has been making their sun sleeves for decades. They are excellent. I've had a pair for over 15 years and they are still in great condition. They've been washed 100s of not thousands of times. I actually just ordered and received a new pair. They are expensive at around 40 bucks but you'll not find a better pair and will last about forever.
  10. Some golf clubs, fishing gear, 2 bicycles (down from 8 at one time), lots of tools, and a full cycling simulator. The garage is the man cave. Clubs are limited to 2 sets of irons a very small assortment of drivers and hybrids and a few putters. I have more cycling gear then golf gear.
  11. The only way I play golf year round is to have other things to do when not golfing. I golf 3 sometimes 4 days a week year round. 3 days a week I cycle. Used to race triathlons but after 2 titanium hips I'm only cycling now. 50 or so miles on my non golfing days. In the evenings I fish. 3 to 4 evenings a week out in my canoe. Golf is only part of my retirement. It really does help having more then 1 hobby.
  12. I don't know anything about the "people's clubs" but anytime "gift cards" are used for payments, I run! That's the number 1 red flag for scams. Even appears as though someone got hold of some emails and are using them to scam. I'd never buy anything using gift cards through a supplied link! I could be totally wrong, but maybe not. All the red flags are there.
  13. I'll hit any non range ball with either woods or driver. I save them to the end of the bucket. Big difference in flight and distance between range balls and regular balls. I want the flight and distance with longer clubs when warming up or practicing. I never keep them.
  14. I change shafts and drivers frequently. And that means nearly every week. I can play a Pro Launch Blue senior flex or a Hazardous Black regular flex. Or change drivers from a Cobra Dark Speed to a Titlest TSR3 or even a Gen4 PXG 0311XF with a Ping Alta CB shaft. I love messing around with my swing. They all swing differently. It keeps me aware of what I'm doing. I also get to play as many as 4 times a week.
  15. We had the same situation. We made him last every week. He would put his group 4 to 5 holes behind after 18.
  16. Just a cautionary note on "lots of water". When you drink too much water the salinity in your system drops so low you can't absorb the fluids. Be sure you are intaking some salt. Any form will do. In reality hyponatremia is more common then dehydration in athletics. Symptoms are nearly the same.
