  1. Wow, did you get those from Charley? Can't be that many CP sets made, those personalized sets went to club pros for their shops. It was great when he posted here.
  2. Yeah but he's losing in the hair game. Talk to spieth, channel those great 80-90s styles, mullet and mustache, yessir!
  3. Use the sandpaper Dry, 200, 300. If you wet it, it will slide and not get any friction. You may need to replace those old grips. Leather can last decades, but old rubber grips get hardened and dessicated.
  4. Those are original rubber MacGregor grips, sand and clean. Not leather, no oil.
  5. Split sole vip irons, in same category as SS tourney irons, not very coveted. 67 vip by Nicklaus are the sweet irons.
  6. I'd sand with 200 300 sand paper, above oil could be detrimental.
  7. You mean the MacGregor 985, I think.
  8. Great John, glad to see you posting again, miss the guys who really knew their classic clubs, like you, Charley pena, stu, etc.
