  1. I find the use of the 'revaeler' to look at the putter laughable. Nobody putts with a single point of contact as a pendulum - as Kenyon shows -once you grip the putter you are applying force to the shaft from 2 sources. The revealer is a marketing tool to show and issue that is irrelevant to the how a putter works for a player
  2. Great golf can be really boring - The fans love drama and jeopardy but if winning is your job you want the lowest stress possible. Completely agree with the posts above saying the Scheffler's golf and mindset is what coaches and psychologists want you to have - its juts 99.99999999% of us cant fathom what that is like.
  3. Now that the tournament is co-sanctioned with the PGA tour a lot of the recent courses are out of the question due to the size of the operation. Every year more stands and refershment zones are being put in - only 'quiet' section is on the Muirfeld boudary (and obvs the 13th) Inverness and Aberdeen wont get the size of crowds that are now expected/required - Gullane would require a composite course and having most of the courses out of play for build out etc. Thinking back to when it was at Dundonald in 2017 never mind back to loch lomond, it was a MUCH smaller setup to what we see now..... File it under a course thats OK but chosen for logistics over quality - they will work on the experience for players and patrons.
  4. We didnt get ton the course till 11 but certainly driving down it looked there was quite a bit of haar/fog down the coast so cant speak for starting later in the day. Definitely correct call to get play done early - temperature dropped about 6pm and fog started building as leaders were going down 16. Leaving course about 7pm it got very gloomy.
