It’s just solid. Feels like a great milled carbon steel putter but with great balance. To me in my experience carbon is a bit less lively than stainless. With this putter I’ve really liked that though. The feel from the first putt I hit with mine was just a nice solid feel with great feedback. I’ve really enjoyed putting with it
