  1. My buddy just picked up a set of these with the stock Nippon 115s. Looks great behind the ball. Very similar to shape to my Wilson CBs, but just tiny bit chunkier and longer heel to toe. Great feel, reminds me of my old S55s. They do seem a bit higher launch and spin, but could be the shaft helping there. Thin shots carried well. My friend had one of the best days I've seen hitting his irons. Just forgiving and straight in a nice player's inspired package.
  2. Yep! As much as it separates them, it also turns off a lot of folks. I totally dismissed the company, thinking it was some sort of Temu putters. I didn't realize they are high quality, made in the USA.
  3. I quite like my Swag putter (for now at least, lol). I understand separating yourself from every other milled putter, but I've never really gotten the skull thing.
  4. Ha! I was trying to get all sorts of info out of them. Somewhere on social media a golfer went to the performance center there in Chicago, said they got a sneak peak at some future equipment that would be really exciting. Since the woods are all new - I'd have to believe maybe refreshed irons. I'd love to see a few more grind options on the wedges as well. The Vokey K* keeps calling me, lol.
  5. It looks like an exciting new step for GolfWRX. Hopefully our hunky Knudson is staying on board! I think having more access to the PGA tour will be awesome. I've really enjoyed the "Inside The Ropes" series, so looking for that to only get better and better! Not that you all asked - but I'd love to see this partnership leveraged to offer more insight and access for the members. AMAs or Live streams with tour reps, product reps... maybe even some tour players that are just sick enough to talk gear with us.
  6. I remember asking if they were going to introduce something to compete with with the "player's distance" irons. It was more of a coy maybeeee. So maybe that's what we will see! I like the Dynapower Forged, but it doesn't really gap well with the CBs or MBs. I'd love to seem them form a more cohesive 3/4 model series for easier combo sets like Srixon has done. Hopefully they keep the chrome 😁
  7. Such a cool experience! We know you have pretty much tried all the things and have been fit before...is there anything that surprised you or stood out with this one?
  8. Oh dang, that's really nice! I am a sucker for a deeper blade, so getting lower torque in that package is darn tempting.
  9. It feels like a very pointed comment. Knowing his current loyalty to the Bryan Bros and Phil, it seems more like a call out of the PGA tour. He is making money hand over fist. Not being able to monetize 2 days seems like a lame excuse.
  10. Wilson on Instagram is having a giveaway! Get a carbon driver with a custom Ventus and a full set of Staff MBs with Axioms! Go check it out
  11. I didn't realize this thread moved. I was scrolling and scrolling thinking I was going crazy, lol. No big updates here. Driver is great. So much so that I got rid of my beloved Ping G430 LST. Only iffy clubs are the 58* and the 3 wood. 7 wood remains my favorite new club. With courses here getting really firm and thinning out, if I'm not careful I can catch chips on the thin side. Mid bounce just doesn't work for me as well in those conditions. The 3 wood... I have always seemed to struggle with 3 woods as I don't need it very often. The Carbon is really low launch and spin for me. The face height kind of sits in a weird spot where I don't have much confidence off the tee as it isn't too deep, but then don't feel confident I can get it elevated off the deck. Being that I love the 7 wood so much, I think it's mostly a mental block... but I do think the 16.5 is a better choice. I really made this update the shout out Wilson again. The back pack they gave us is coming in handy for my girl's sport camp. Got the Wilson tennis racket right at home!
