  1. Again, that’s the beauty of minimalist golf, figuring things out. But personally, I can’t quite imagine trying to purposely create a flier lie. Or maybe I can. Your technique isn’t that far off what I do with my hybrids…such a fun shot to have in the arsenal.
  2. Love the par 3 courses that allow for this. For me, this is golf heaven. 😎
  3. ^^^This^^^ Driver and hybrid for the grunt work, the other four or five for the fine tuning.
  4. Agreed. No way I’m walking with a full bag anymore, even pushing. I’ll gladly set a few clubs aside to still have something left in the tank coming down the home stretch.
  5. Honda CR-V, and yeah we’re good. 😉
  6. One of the things that inspired me towards minimalism was watching Ian Poulter go out for a late afternoon walk around Bellerive in St. Louis with only three clubs in hand before the 2018 PGA Championship. No idea what he would have shot, but it just struck me as simple and beautiful way to experience the game.
  7. Not to jack the OP, but your issue sounds swing related, not age related. 40 is nothing, and you shouldn’t have to worry about that marker. Find the power leak and you should be right back where you want to be.
  8. Full disclosure, I did not come from anything TSI, but rather TSR3, which I really liked. But ultimately GT3 proved to be the winner. Full report is here.
  9. To be honest, I didn’t read the whole post, but equating golf and Mousetrap is just fun. Well done. 😎
  10. Factory defect…these things happen. Contact Titleist or whatever retailer you might have used and get a replacement. In the end it’s just a matter of delay gratification for you, But it will be worth it.😉
  11. Nothing…that’s not that big of a gap on that end of the bag, doubt you’d really even notice. So leave that spot open and lighten your load.
  12. Simple and smart. Sometimes I think we overthink things, making golf much harder than it needs to be. 😎
