  1. ...in order to produce the draw, or in order to keep it from being a hook? Left hand LOOKS like it's on the club pretty weak, which makes me think you likely fight a hook -- but maybe it's weak enough that it's making it harder to hit an intentional draw. Second swing looks a little more OTT than the first swing (which can certainly keep your hands away from you on the downswing)... But if you're a scratch-2, then who cares? LOL (Seriously, though, I think clearing up your comment above will me helpful toward others helping you).)
  2. Great info, folks. Thank you! I've decided that the 11s are the way to go for me. The 11.5s fit loosely, even after adding an insole under the OEM insole -- and I'd think that the fit would only get sloppier over time.
  3. UP? in the 1 Lows? Wow. These things are pretty huge in the forefoot already.
  4. Any comment on the fit when brand new, and whether they got looser/tighter with wear?
  5. Ok, so if they fit snuggly to start with, they WILL stretch with use? That's very helpful info. I'm not an 11 in anything (except Cole Haan shoes, which clearly run large, since I'm not an 11 on those foot-measuring devices)... So, getting these in 11 sounds kind of crazy to me -- but is that your experience? That you're never a 9.5 in golf shoes -- but that they might actually be even better than the 1/2-size-down ones you got? Keep the input coming, please!
  6. I can't find the video (it's older, and they're outside on a grass range..); but I've seen it a few times, and they were not promoting an arm-swing/crossing the midline or anything contradictory to what they promote in these current videos.
  7. I can't deny the comfort of the Jordan 1 lows (just putting my feet in them in the store), but I feel like I'm between sizes -- so I need your help. I'm a 12 in the Air Max 1 G shoes from a few years back, and am a 12 in the current Air Max offerings. I am an 11.5 in the Jordan ADG3s, and I tried on the VP4s and am a 11.5 in them. But these Jordan 1s feel pretty roomy in 11.5 -- and I have narrow feet, so I DON'T need a wider toe box at all (just need to fit for length). The 11s fit like a glove, but I'm wondering if my toes would feel a bit cramped by the end of a round. ...Or do the 1 Lows stretch/give a little with time? In a nutshell, I'm wondering from those of you who have worn these shoes for some time now whether you went down to a smaller-than-normal size, or went with the roomier size -- and what the result have been for you. I'm concerned that the smaller size might not give and stay perfect with each wear, and also that the larger size might just stretch more with time and get even bigger and sloppier-fitting with use. Thanks! EDIT: Incidentally, my right foot is @ 1/4-size longer than my left... So sometimes when I fit for length for that foot, the left shoe in always in danger of feeling a little too long...
  8. That video was not at odds with the video at the start of this thread. In that video they just wanted to show that many ams' misconception of how to start the downswing [by moving the trail shoulder out and over] can have them literally unable to move if someone holds their shoulder back.
  9. Incidentally, whereas your feet look closed at set up, your shoulders aren't. They might be square at best, and open at worst. That disparity probably isn't helping you.
  10. Did you mean to say "...a driver with a more UPRIGHT lie angle..."? It's already way toe-down at impact in your swing. Adjusting lie angles flatter points the loft more to the right, and adjusting them upright points the loft more to the left. Presenting the club head toe-down will point the loft more to the right -- so, it can be a concern in that regard (although the reasons why you deliver the club head like that should be your main concern). It looks like your driver has an adjustable hosel. Can't you adjust the lie angle through it and see if a more upright angle helps your ball flight?
  11. Interesting that you hated the 200s. What shafts did you have in them? I’ve got Recoils in mine, and I love the combo.
  12. Welcome to the site! I don't really know what you're looking for in new irons, but I'd take a look at the '23 Titleist T200s. You can stay with a brand you know/like, and now that the '25 T-line is out the '23 T200s should go down in price. They look like players' irons, but they're packed with plenty of forgiveness and lots of feel (I think they feel and perform better than the T150s). Now, the shafts you get in them could be a big part of the equation for you -- but the heads themselves are just so good.
  13. ...And then there are all of the "toey" guys looking at this who would LOVE to be able to get their strikes more toward the heel. Golf is brutal. Good luck!
  14. I can't get past the huge lip/ledge on the sole where the sole meets the upper at the heel on this model. I also have never seen anyone wearing them in the wild. Is this model a good seller for Nike?
  15. How'd you find the clubs that "stuck"? I'm assuming you did it by trial-and-error. I think that's exactly what the fitting process SHOULD be -- trial-and-error, all at one time, and without having to buy/rent the clubs you're trying. ...But if you come away with clubs that don't immediately feel good on the course, it can be really disappointing. I'm finally in an irons head/shaft combo from a great fitting in May that instantly translated to the course (which, in retrospect, has shown me that I probably wouldn't have come up with this combo on my own -- and that some of my past fittings haven't "fit" me very well at all).
