  1. for anyone curious on a sizing opinion... ended up ordering a few sizes to do an "at home" try on and then return... ordered some custom stuff from our pro shop now that they carry it and I know my size. Found the fits in line with Peter Millar, but maybe 10% trimmer? For PM, I go M in the standard fit and L in the crown crafted (trimmer fit) for SDR, I would suggest M in the Heritage fit and L in the refined fit aka what you would order in PM. I like M better in PM compared to SDR for the standard fit I like L better in SDR compared to PM in the tailored fits
  2. Had my pro call. Said no unaccompanied guests.
  3. Nice comment! Didn't see that. My order model does not have that.
  4. Which material is better for the skin of a golf travel bag? Summary: Feature 1608 Ballistic Nylon 2000D Polyester Abrasion Resistance Excellent Good Tear Strength Excellent Moderate Water Resistance Moderate Better UV Resistance Poor Good Weight Heavier Lighter Cost Higher Lower Ideal Use Frequent travel, high protection Casual travel, budget-friendly Recommendation: If you travel frequently and need maximum protection, go with 1608 ballistic nylon. If you travel occasionally, want something lighter and more affordable, 2000D polyester is a solid choice.
  5. Going to be in that area for work and wanted to have my pro call, member at a decent course outside Chicago. Anyone know if they are accommodating for reciprocals?
  6. I would assume the number listed is the weight or some measure of thickness of the material? 2000 would be thicker than 1600, is my guess? generally speaking, I would assume Nylon is stronger than polyester. so like 1600 Nylon > = durability of 2000 polyester so maybe they went with a thinner or better looking material that is stronger on paper?
  7. I appreciate everyone’s responses, but no one is answering my question… anyone have the bigger CG travel Bag and a very small stand bag. if so, has combo lead to any unforeseen consequences with damaged to the stand bag or anything? I have the collegiate now and have sometimes thought, “I wish had more space”
  8. Travel 4-5 times a year. As stated above, want to go bigger because extra space sounds better. Just want to make sure it’s not going to create problems where my bag bounces around too much in transit.
  9. See some mixed messages on here, does SDR generally handle returns well? Want to order the same shirt and a couple different sizes and send back the one which does not fit. I just want to make sure that’s not going to be a giant pain in the a**
  10. Yeah, I have that one from like 2008. It’s lasted so well, not afraid to upgrade. feel like extra storage is great for merch purchases, haha, but worried like maybe the big CG bag would have too much space and my slim carry bag would get jostled around too much
  11. Looking at the new club glove travel bag models 2 questions: - leaning between the larger and smaller sizes. Based on their explanations, looks like large is meant for staff bags and the others for stand bags. I only have a stand bag. Like the idea of extra space for packing purposes, or taking swag home, but am I missing anything why that would be a bad idea? Clubs fly around during travel? - anyone familiar with materials, is 1608D Cordura way stronger than 2000D polyester?
