  1. Thanks dude! Was the purpose of the sandpaper cloth and wood mix stick to help get sandpaper into the deep dings/cuts to smooth out those edges? Did you use a groove tool to spruce up grooves? Lastly, did you do any sort of buffing/polishing after the scotchbrite wheel? I'll be taking these heads to the next level with this insight you've provided. Mahalo. J
  2. I'll be sending these heads into one of two restorers on the mainland, but for now, I wanted to do a quick refresh of one of my sets. I'll be reshafting and utilizing some BB&F Co ferulles, so ignore soaking heads past ferulle seam. - Placed heads in Coca Cola for about 12 hours - Removed and used standard Scotch Brite pad to remove loosened rust and additional debri - Quick, no compound, polish Happy with the result and hope this helps others who may consider the same.
