They need to come back to Portrush every 5-6 years or so Allow it to take St Andrews place as the most frequently returned course unless they roll back the ball allowing the Old Course to be more of a challenge 2028 Portmarnock 2029 Lytham with recent expansion 2030 Muirfield 2031 Portrush

I remember that Watson made more than a few very long putts during the week to be in the lead at the end it was an abnormality and of course I wanted him to win but 59 year olds don’t putt like that unless the stars align

If you are a beginner don’t get a 3 wood get a 5 wood or 7 wood based on what your fitter says is a better fit for you swing speed and launch characteristics

I have a solid 10 yard gap between my 7 and 9 wood and probably more off a tee so why not carry both as most higher swing speed golfers would see a solid 15 yard gap between clubs
