  1. Adams still around there. If someone’s making the drive from Nashville to BG is suggest going to Oldestone for lessons. I think Atticus is still there, he knows his stuff.
  2. There should be a serial number on all your irons on the new mizuno line. I’ve had 2 sets of the HMP and also 3 sets of the 925FB and they all had serial numbers on all irons.
  3. Erol with Profectus (Gaylord) was good when I went there. But honestly, I’ve learned to for myself through the years. I’ve almost always figured it out before the “fitter” has helped me out.
  4. I had the 925FB until recently. 11 rds of golf and 2-3 range sessions a week in almost 3 months and the wear is very minimal. The only thing I had was my 7 iron got used out of a fairway bunker and that took off some of the ‘paint’, bit that was expected hitting out of sand. The normal use from hitting off grass or mat was barely noticeable. I don’t have anymore pics as I just sold them recently
  5. One final price drop on putters. Someone take these to a good home and put them in play.
  6. I’ve said it a few times, but just wanna say it again. I hit in my backyard net again tonight for about an hour and I can tell already that the new shafts in the 9-A are already better for me. It might be a little weird set up I have, but it looks like it’s gonna work out great. The KBS TGI 100 X in the (5-8) and the Dart V in the (9-A). I LOVE the way the Darts look, don’t like the KBS Label, but other then that it’s fine. This shafts launch high for me which is nice in the long irons. Excited to get the “new” irons out early next week (super busy week). In my session earlier I was striping the darts I’ll show a few pics (minus one toey shot). Like the other testers, I sold my gamers 925 Forged Black and these Srixon are firmly in the bag. THANK YOU AGAIN to @Srixon / Cleveland Golf and @GolfWRX_Official for this awesome opportunity. I’m not done posting or raving about these clubs, just wanted to say again how great of a job they did on this Zxi iron line.
  7. I just had a few of my irons swapped out with new shafts to help an issue I was having. 9, P & A ZXi5 with Dart V 120 stiff, +.25” length and Winn Dri Tac 2.0 oversize grips (56g) they measured out to D4, D4.5, D5
  8. So had a buddy tear apart my 9, P & A this week and swapped the shafts to Dart V 120 stiff. Added a little flair to them as well. I hit about 10-15 balls with each last night and feels way better to me already. Anxious to get them on course to see if it’s changed to what I need.
  9. Driver for this guy! If it hit it well, I shoot upper 70’s low 80’s. If I don’t anywhere from 85-95…most of the time I can keep it in the 80’s….but I am prone to a few rounds that driver HURTS Me and nothing else can help it 🤦🏻‍♂️
  10. LOL, I get what you're saying. The quick rundown is, Coach would run around to all the "better players" and ask where they stood score wise, then immediately would get on his phone. If you were close enough you'd then see his wife pick up her phone and look at it. So 99.9% sure he was relaying to her what the son needed to do. Happened way to many times for it to be a coincidence. Funny but sad thing, last week was a local City Tourney and my son got to play because he's still young enough, played against alot of those kids on team now, including the "suspect". The remaining team mates noticed it first hand and I had a few parents reach out to me to see how to handle it. Funny that others are seeing, but Sad that now lots of people see it.
  11. I was an assistant up until last fall when my son finished his Senior year. I was also the statistician/score avg person for the team. I watched the coaches kid not break 40 during any 9 hole qualifiers, matches, etc. (12 events). His Best tourney round was 79 twice, but avg tourney score was an 87. In the last week of the season we had a conference tourney and also a district tourney 2 days apart. The day before the conf. tourney I took my son, coaches kid and 2 others out for a practice round...coached kid lost 10 balls in 6 holes before he quit. Then the next day miraculously shoots an even par 36 to finish 1 shot behind my son and take second place. 2 days later on a very hard course with hardest pin locations the course could have had (admitted by hosting coach) my son & another top player in district both shoot +2 to tie and the 3rd best player shoots a +4...that is until the coaches kid comes strolling in with a +1 score. Not one person on our team and several of the other teams that knew the kid could believe what we were being told. But when I asked the kids/coaches that he was playing against 2 of the kids said they didn't pay attention to him because they were trying to play and the one that actually kept his score said he just wrote down whatever he was told because he was a new golfer that isn't very good and didn't know to actually watch him. Was so pissed off for so many reasons, but I couldn't say a word since I didn't follow him any that day. There's more to the story & how we know they had been cheating, but I'll leave that for local ears only.
  12. Kids cheat all the time! 🤦🏻‍♂️. Makes it worse when a coaches kid cheats and the coach “stays away” from the kid so he can deny what’s happening.
  13. For the last 6-7 years I’ve been living in the 115-122g weight class of iron shafts. Last year I took the leap to MMT 105s and like them really well, but have still felt they’re just a tad light in the 9-Aw. So when I was chosen for these I went with the KBS 100 only because that was the only graphite close to the mmt’s (mmt’s weren’t available at the time). I have the Dart V 120 in stuff to go in the 9-Aw. I think that part of the problem is the weight too light, but also the launch/spin of the kbs shafts. The Dart V should (on paper) get me to that low/mid window I’m used to seeing…or maybe normal window and the kbs are just that much higher. If this works out, I may switch to the Dart V 105’s in the 5-7/8.
  14. Alright, I’m back again for another update. Played another 18 at a course I’ve played before and know fairly well. I can’t say enough how awesome these clubs look in the bag first of all. Everyone in my group was complimenting all day how great they looked. My buddy that always plays with me is already looking to pick up a set next year. On to the course, these irons just flat out feel/sound great, cut through the turf perfectly for me and just launch out there. Yesterday, started out as a great day and good play…but as my friend Michael Scott would say, “Oh How the Turntables” 😝. The day started out cloudy, breezy and a good temp…but that changed quickly about hole 7, when the Clouds parted and opened up, the rays of Hell shined through, the breeze quit and the Humidity brought its wrath. Seriously I believe it was the Hottest round of golf I’ve ever played with the Humidity and ZERO breeze from Hole 7 on. By the end of the round we were all dragging in and just trying to get done. Iron wise my play was fine, but gotta get the short irons worked out. The irons are great, like I’ve said a few times now, the 5-8 flat out perform & exactly as I hoped they would. Where I continue to struggle is with the 9-Aw. It’s not because of the irons it’s because of the shafts. They’re just too light in weight and I’m losing the feel of the clubhead in my swing. The other issue I’m having is that the P & A launch so high for me. They go straight and high, but I’m losing my normal distances because they’re getting up high and not cutting through the air like I’m used to. I’ve already ordered and received Friday evening some new shafts to put into those 3 clubs. All day long when I hit the 5-8 they performed great, felt great etc. But most of the day I had between 110-130 in on my second shots which was the A or P. I hit greens with them, but I kept coming up a club short it seemed like. So was on greens but far away and had a couple 3 putts (greens had lots of breaks and “areas” of the greens. I truly believe that once these new shafts get in next week that I’ll see what I’m seeing with the long irons. I did let one of my buddies hit the 7 iron on a par 3 and he was over the moon. He said, “that felt liked I nuked it and it went high and straight”. I can’t recommend these irons enough, but I will say make sure you get the shafts that fit you. More to come soon.
  15. This is just my second set of the 925FB, first set was bone stock, this set was “custom” for me. The other sets were HMP and only 2 😝 so 4 sets total, but not 7 😬
  16. Good evening ladies & gents. A few items I would consider in very very good shape. All prices include shipping to the lower 48 and PayPal fees too. If it’s still listed it’s still available. Check my feedback you won’t be disappointed. Preview: 1. Mizuno 925 Forged Black (5-G) SOLD 2. Scotty Select Newport 1.5 (2012) 3. Scotty Phantom 5 (2024) 1. Mizuno JPX 925 Forged Black (5-G) with MMT 105 stiff (hard stepped 1x). I bought these new direct from Mizuno in late March and received in late April. They have been played exactly 11 rds of golf and 8-10 mat sessions in my back yard. Now, I absolutely LOVE these irons (check the 925 thread), but I was lucky and got chosen for the Srixon iron thread and going to play those going forward. Back to the 925, they are all stock loft, .5 up on lie, the (5-9) are +.25 length while the (P & G) are +.5 length. The grips are Golf Pride MCC +4 Midsize Teams (Gold & Black) with 3 wraps. The irons feel great, are super forgiving, and totally badazz! I tried to capture the soles the best I can, but taking pics and showing how minimal the wear is kind of hard. The pics make them look way worse than they are. Only the 7 & 8 have any kind of wear. The 7 from a fairway bunker and the 8 from my main mat club, But it’s very minimal. Asking $1,050 or best reasonable offer. SOLD to @Swvehaun 2. Scotty Cameron Select Newport 1.5 (2012). I bought this here on Wrx earlier this year and it’s been on the course once and the rest of the time has been carpet rolled only. It’s in excellent shape, 35” length, comes with a generic cover. I have no need for 4 putters so trying to thin the herd a little bit. Pictures should speak for themselves. Asking $360, $345…NOW $320. 3. Scotty Cameron Phantom 5 (2024) 35. This is my sons putter, he recently switched to the LAB crew so trying to recoup some money before he heads off to college. Putter is in great shape with only one blemish being a bag rub spot near the heel and also on sole (pics should show). Putter is 35" length. Asking $340, $325…NOW $315.
  17. Back again. Went on vacation last week and left the clubs at home. After getting through work yesterday and catching up, today was time for some golf clubs. I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it, these irons are just FANTASTIC! @Srixon / Cleveland Golf knocked it out of the park again. I’ve tried all the 5 models through the years and these are the best to date. Something about flushing these irons is super addictive. The head size, looks, feel, are just phenomenal. I am still having mixed feelings about the shafts I chose, but that is definitely not a reflection on the irons. I am most likely going to swap out the shafts in the Gw, Pw and 9 iron as the KBS TGI 100 seems too light in those clubs. However in the 8 I seem to have zero issues with it. I’m going to try and get out again this Saturday on course to give them another real world run through. Thank you again to @GolfWRX_Official for being chosen for this awesome opportunity. Heres some pics to show how I was mostly grooving with these irons.
  18. Of those the only possibility might be the Tensei White. I can’t do anything less than 100g in irons, just doesn’t work for my swing.
  19. Never tried the 110 Proto’s but had the regular ones and also played the Proto 125’s last year with good success.
