Last 3 rounds I have been +SG (relative to scratch) off the tee. Small sample obviously but I just feel so much more comfortable with the driver in particular. By no means do I think I'm "fixed" but feels great to see the light coming
Biggest difference is the reduced anxiety especially off the tee. I was a basket case at my worst literally driving it like a 10 handicap.
Back to work though

Max Speed 110-112 in simulator
Cruising speed on golf course ~104/105
Working on increasing both and narrowing gap between two as much as possible
Introduced a foam ball this evening. Predictably extension returned a bit. Though I “think” I had a bit less extension on the backswing and been conscious of less pelvic rotation

Well I don’t like trad stats in any sport generally but I guess a better way of stating it is poor GIR doesn’t really reveal what a players issues are. Could be driving, could Be Iron play it, of course, could be both
But that’s just my bias on it I suppose
FWIW these counting stats are fairly worthless at least to understand where your shortcomings are relative to a population of scratch golfers. In particular, total putts and GIR are really bad metrics and don't tell you much about your game at all. I would echo what @Scottbox said about understanding and using some sort of SG approach if you are really trying to get materially better
I find the new app interface and data sorting fairly terrible. This is my 4th year using GolfMetrics and it's borderline unusable now.
I gave it a few months figuring i would get used to it but I haven't. The ability to just see rounds from this year or after XYZ date is just not intuitive at all.
I'll not be renewing which sucks with all the data that's in there
Still trying to focus on this feel (I played 2x this weekend so I didn’t think abt these mechanics)
not sure if this is getting me there or not but starting to feel the difference

Yeah the bolded is certainly interesting. The first time you said it I wasn't really comprehending but I see what you are saying.
Sometimes I am dense. Thanks
