  1. As others said net return, they have sales from now and then where you can get some money off. I got the Home version which is 7x7 which honestly is a little large for my liking, could have gotten away with the mini.
  2. Brooks getting a signature shoe before scottie or at least a PE is something I didn’t see coming.
  3. Good! I came from a ping tr1966 anser before and enjoy the more face balanced nature. I found that I don't leave the blade nearly as open. It's funny because the L neck spider and the long neck soto are 1 degree off on toe hang but the soto face is longer heel to toe than the spider so it's a little harder to shut it vs the spider. Given the nature of how much lighter the soto is vs the spider it's great on fast greens. Also the less toe hang really allows me to start it better on line inside 5-8 feet.
  4. It's under the MyTP options. I've attached pictures of the website and then the two I got.
  5. No but on taylormades website the other day I did see an option under the p790 that they had this so I imagine it would be coming out shortly.
  6. If you go through myspider on taylormade you can get one with the aluminum insert which is what I have in my tour x as well as my soto. I have a long neck soto and an L neck spider tour x which gives me the best of both worlds option wise in my opinion, similar toe hang profiles but obviously different looks and whatnot. I had the same through whenever I rolled the normal ones in the store in regards to the insert being way too soft.
  7. How do they compare to the P730 or other blades you've played?
  8. Anyone doesn't like them let me know!
  9. Typically it's out of the southwest. I'm guessing you meant 13 as the par 5 uphill with the ski slope in the middle. Every now and then we'll get a wind out of the south east and it honestly doesn't change the holes much because then the hard holes play much easier but the easier holes really show their teeth. I split my rounds about 70/30 on the woods because if you play the links enough it's somewhat easier to score and your handicap just gets so inflated. They cut down the fescue between holes 11/13 about 4 years ago as well as cut it much wider on 15/16/17/18 to encourage faster pace of play. The greens are as in good of shape on both courses as they ever been. They typically keep the links a bit slower due to pace of play.
  10. Really solid write up, as someone who plays it daily I have similar thoughts, the bunkers on the links require extreme control and often not the ability to get the ball on the green from them specifically 1,2,6 but it challenges the longer players nowadays. It's absolutely insane to me that the woodlands is rated around 2 shots easier than the links from the back tees. I think the links has gotten over rated a bit with the rating and the amount of play but it's one of the most unique courses/layouts in the midwest, I don't know a single course I've played where you don't encounter a par 4 for 6 holes in a row (9-14 on the links) and it really challenges your rhythm has a player. On the flip side if they found land or added distance to the woodlands it might be one of the more challenging courses due to the hazards and the inability to hit driver on alot of the holes if you're a longer player.
  11. Personally I went P770 4/5/6, P7CB 7/8/9 and then an MG4 46 degree. Really enjoy. The MG4 vs CB.
  12. I don’t have any issues with the gapping personally.
  13. Check dexterity as others have said. I also take a microfiber towel and make sure the lens are cleaned as well as making sure there’s no debris near them with a toothbrush.
  14. 100%. The CB’s are longer than the MC’s but in my opinion I don’t know what the MC’s offer that that CB’s don’t. Personally with that speed and height I’d probably just go full set CB’s.
