  1. We are a group of scratch players at the club. My buddy just reminded me about the pause at the top drill I’ve done before. I like this delivery better. IMG_3988.mov
  2. Thank you. I was coached by the late Mason Rudolph as a boy. He was a tour pro in the 60s, so not technically a home made swing lol. With that said, I’m not currently using a coach.
  3. Thank you. Here’s a clip from 2020 when I was much skinnier. I think this delivery was better. IMG_4003.mov
  4. I play the ball both ways and in the clip above I was playing a fade. Here is my draw swing. I don’t have a video with an iron. IMG_3749.mov
  5. This is yesterday. Trying to rotate left with hips while keeping sternum facing ball. IMG_3970.mov
  6. I am a lifelong golfer since my youth and oscillate between scratch and 2 hcp. I have always been a draw player that has to hit a lot of balls to keep my timing down, since I’m more handsy. I’ve noticed the best player’s hands are much closer to their body at impact and they have good hip/shoulder separation. I am trying to get there because I believe that will get me more consistency off the tee and my approaches. Before: IMG_3781.mov
  7. I'm a scratch player 45 years old driver SS 103 MPH. I got a 7 wood and I love it so much, I'm considering a 9 wood to replace my 4 iron and maybe even a hybrid to replace my 5 iron. I can flush my 4-5 irons, but I just don't have the desired height and they don't fly well on miss hits.
  8. Agreed on a correlation between handicap and club selection. I am a scratch so I've always hit driver well going back to when I was a kid. I generally can keep it in play. I am going to say the putter because a lot of strokes can be lost if you cant convert putts under 10 ft. The other stat for me is GIR. Thats why I practice my approach shots a lot.
  9. it’s inhospitable right now down here in TN.
  10. I normally hang out in the equipment forum but I made a post about the Crossline 2.0s. Great feeling grip with a secure feeling texture but in very high humidity, can still get slick.
  11. Quick follow up I put these grips to the test over the weekend in 90 + degree temps with dew points in the low 70s. Everything outside was damp due to saturated air. The grips did well but they are not impervious to the most humid conditions. I was still getting some slippage regardless of rotating gloves and a wiping with a micro fiber. The feel and tackiness is good, but not perfect in the most demanding humid conditions.
  12. I stopped by my local PGA Super Store yesterday to grab some Tour Velvets and spied some new Crosslines in a bin listed $5.99. I noticed right away they were noticeably tackier than the Tour Velvets. I gripped up my set last night and I really like the taper. Slightly larger in the low hand area. I’ve got 2nd round of club championship today in humid Tennessee heat. I will see how they hold up. Anyone game these yet?
