On the term "restoration" IMHO that's not quite accurate. There is no way anyone wants a true restoration to the prior iteration. Have you ever watched footage of the old days? Just pull up the Masters from say 1997 (Tiger time), look closely at the conditions. I bet your local muni is close to that condition. Do you want the course to mirror what Bobby Jones was playing in 1930s? It would be terrible. Greens rolling at about a 7, bumpy as all get out? Fairways looking worse than your backyard? No thanks.

I love the look of them; I'm into showing some flare, life's boring enough, and was bummed when Pure grips went out of business; am currently using Star grips from last year. I'll have to find the Juicy ones.
