After twenty-three years with my Pro Platinum Newport Mid-Slant, I upgraded with the Studio Style Newport 2 Plus earlier this year. The slightly larger footprint isn't offputting, and the customizable weights allowed my fitter to tailor the putter to my stroke. The slightly softer feel has taken some time to get used to, but the ability to frame the ball and find my line has be noticeable (by my playing partners). Hopefully, I have it longer than my original Scotty.
