  1. I played a mini driver for a while, but it was strictly down to courses, my home course is basically doglegs and ditches, with some tight drives, so always worth factoring that into the equation, i ditched it as i just added another wedge to the bag and was doing well with my 4 wood to get into position off the tee. Could easily go back and stick one in the bag though, just a bit costly for what they are these days, how Titleist can charge 120 quid over a GT1 3 wood stops me even contemplating it though.
  2. Every time i think improving my GRF will give me more distance, i either watch someone at my club swing like an octopus and hit it 300 yards, or watch a youtube video of someone sat on a chair hitting it 250 😂
  3. From what i've learnt over the years, the purpose of the takeaway is to get the club starting on a swing arc that suits your swing. From the original comment, changing your takeaway and backswing will always cause issues with the downswing, until you match them up over time, i suffer from an inside takeaway, always have, but in my transition i loop it slightly, then come down on the correct arc, when i practice fixing my inside takeaway, i hit a lot of shanks, because i am not in the usual position at the top, and of course, when practicing one area, you are focused on that, rather than the whole swing. If your swing works, without any issues, then don't change it, having a pretty swing is nice, but functional is how you get around the course, so if you have a functional swing and mess with it, expect to have issues until you're able to balance it out, it's why big changes like this tend to be done over winter by most folk.
  4. I'd say this will come down to personal preference, as the Elyte TD sits differently at address, is shaped differently and it has a fade bias, where the G440 is different in every way on those, so for most golfers, whatever their personal preference is, they'll pick one over the other.
