  1. I play a Ping G425 Max
  2. I've been by there several times and could see holes #7, #8,#9 and #10 are still there (no houses yet). We're heading to Minneola next week so I'll check it out again. I wish someone would resurrect it Like they did Legends.
  3. If I was a 28 year old single guy looking to leave Texas, I would move to St. Andrews Scotland.
  4. You're right. Sugarloaf was fantastic. I played there a lot during the four or five years it was open. Palisades did go down hill during it's last years but it was in really good shape when it first opened in the early 90s. I remember that if you could get through the first three holes even par, you could have a decent round. Actually, during my last round there the grounds crew shot and killed a wild boar over on number 13.
  5. I visit Lake County four times a year as we have a condo on Lake Minneola. I try to play golf three or four times when we are there. Thankfully, there are several good courses nearby. We drive there from Charlotte so we only have the one car. My wife drops me at Legends, Kings Ridge, Clermont National, Arlington Ridge or Mission Inn and I play 18. Several years ago there were two or three other courses close to our condo. Unfortunately, Palisades and Sugarloaf Mountain closed. I'm just glad we haven't lost any others. Also, when my grown children come with us we can venture a little farther and hit the Orlando courses. Orange County National is my favorite of those. I hope to someday get down to Streamsong as I hear it's fabulous.
  6. I play frequently. Usually two or three times a week. I don't play on weekends because our course is very crowded and play can be slow. It's also busy on week days but rounds over four hours are rare.
