I think part of the problem is that the word “boring” has such a negative connotation in our culture that it’s hard for some to describe the best golfer in the world with that negative of a word. Most who would use the word boring to describe SS would probably say they don’t mean it to be that negative, but it probably does come across that way to a lot of people.
