So I have spent more than what would be considered a healthy and appropriate amount of time in this thread pouring over the pictures and had a very random observation/question…does anyone know the rhyme or reason to when PING does the USA engraving to the back of a custom PLD putter? Is it only a certain time period that they did it for? It seems like complete randomness as to what model they have it on.

Up for sale is a PING PLD custom Ally Blue with a 3 neck (retail model is a 4 neck) also has some non-retail engravings. This one started out as a counter balance model with a ping graphite shaft.
