  1. Switched to a 60 S in my LW this season in the SM10. Previously used the M grind and have a K grind I go to as well, all have their strengths but the S seems to be the most versatile. The only shot I struggle with in the S grind is the rare 50-60 yard shot out of the rough, for that in particular controlling strike "height" is difficult for me compared to the M or K. You can get the dead one off the top of the face, a good strike, or a low spinny one and it can be difficult for me to judge. Being with or against the grain seems to be even more important with the S and having a feel for how its going to come out. Around the greens, out of greenside bunkers, flops ect the S shines.
  2. Was able to get 9 in with the 250's on Tuesday. Hard to give much feedback because I hit it so poorly after having a desk chair swing coming from straight from work. Initial impression is that the new groove design on the 250 gives them a ton of spin retention out of the rough. To the point that I can almost play the same number from the rough that I would in the fairway which was not the case with 200. Ball definitely wanted to curve a little more that I was accustomed to seeing, reminded me of the ball flight I was used to seeing when I played T100's. Playing again Friday morning, may make the move back to Left Dash after playing ProV1X all summer to see if I can take some shape off the irons, it's always been a better ball for me off the tee, could be a win/win.
  3. IMO, the 250 actually plays with a little less bounce and more relief than the 200. Through the ground, it feels much closer to a 100 for me (which is a good thing).
  4. Received my T250/T150 combo set yesterday. I cannot get over how good these look at address and even more so in the bag. Chipping around in the basement with them the 250's feel slightly softer and less clicky than my 200's, leading edge and grooves also appear to be a little flatter and straighter (think Ping) than I recall a Titleist iron being which I am big fan of. A lot of trailing edge relief on the T250's for a club that's the size it is. Titleist continues to have the best sole configurations on the market for those who prefer less bounce and want to get through the ground quicker. The bottom of the 250's effective bounce area resembles the width of a T100 especially in the shorter irons. Getting them out this afternoon for league, excited to say the least.

  6. Ordered T250’s with KBS Tour (PW/GW 150) on 7/11. The very second I paid for overnight shipping it was a stone cold lock they’d ship on a Friday at sit at a FedEx hub over the weekend, alas here we are lol Will have them in hand Monday. Playing really good golf right now with my current 2023 T200’s and fingers crossed the 250’s are as good or a tick better.
  7. Very similar build to mine, Im T250 5-9 T150 PW/GW, 2 Flat, + .5" with KBS Tour (Righty). I ordered through Titleists website on 7/11, called in to cancel another order on Tuesday and asked for a status on the irons. Told they ticket was on the production floor and possible they'd go out today or tomorrow.
  8. Express is much more reliable than Ground. Depending on your location its always about it getting through the hub for me. If it departs Memphis on time and makes it to Dulles i'm in good shape. Ground may as well be USPS at this point, delivery dates should just say "You'll get it when we feel like it and be happy" 😄
  9. For me it would depend on what loft you're playing in your TSi3 and how close to ideal on course you think your spin window is. For me, an 11 degree TSi3 (now TSR3) checked the boxes. It spun enough to maintain control and still gave me the once a round dime sized Titleist strike that jumps and finds that extra gear that we are all accustomed to. Because of the loft I was in, and someone who cannot afford to close the face using the surefit adapter, GT3 at the same loft was not playable. The great ones were great, but anything average or worse was almost guaranteed to be a penalty. If you have room to go up in loft, or struggle with a miss that is higher in spin like a heel-cut, GT3 could be a winner. If you're already in a higher loft TSi3 and don't have much room to go "up", and struggle with a toe side, left, lowish spin miss I think theres a real chance the more forward CG of the GT3 would actually be worse for you over your TSi. We've been stuck at 1.49/1.50 smash for quite a while now out of the middle, looking for a few yards has to come from finding a little more forgiveness or better managing your misses and controlling spin. Not much to be had anymore on good strike vs good strike on two well fit heads.
  10. In the new Phantom line when on Cameron's website there's a description of what/who each of the 3 alignment options is for. I am very intrigued by a 5.5 with the 3 dots vice any lines. "Three Dots- For the player who prefers more traditional subtle alignment and may find lines confusing on breaking putts or uneven lies" It's crazy when they wrote that they didn't just put my name at the end 😄
  11. To answer the OP's question it's always driver for me. Had been struggling mightily off the tee for about 2 months and my index would've been a runaway train if not for the soft cap. Climbed all the way up to 9.7 which is the highest it had been in 4-5 years. Tee ball sets up everything else, if I can get 8 iron or less in hand and have a sub 160 shot into the par 4's i'll make a boat load of GIR 2 putt Par's and keep the doubles away. Finally found a feel off the tee last weekend and posted back to back 77 and 73 with a relatively cold putter. Both rounds were the best I've hit it off the tee since early spring, handicap now slowly coming back into shape.
  12. This sounds so much like me (not as good a player as you tee to green based on index, i hover around 5-7). I've always been a solid putter inside of 6', playing partners would suggest I make the ones I "should". Avg 31.8 putts per round, which is really worse than that number considering I hit 7-8 greens and have a solid short game. (1.7 non-GIR, 2.0 GIR) Like you, the more artistic or athletic my putting is the better. I almost never make putts outside of 10', maybe 1 every 6-7 rounds. When I do, its rarely a straight putt and its one I try and hit with feel and using my hands to manipulate the face. As soon as my stroke gets mechanical, or I'm picking lines to hit I'm in trouble. Never want to putt anywhere but first in a scramble because seeing others lines or watching anyone else putt in general does more harm than good. Like you, the thinner grips seem to work best. Speed control is better, Currently play a Fastback 1.5 but want something with less to no alignment also. Have considered the Rahm "naked" Rossie S. I had a 9.5 and the first 3 rounds i had it I made everything I looked at, shortly after I was averaging 36+ putts a round and couldn't get rid of it fast enough.
  13. Went with 250 in 5-9 standard loft and 150 in PW/GW bent 1 strong. Currently gaming the 23' T200 and playing some of the best golf of my life with them. Really zero reason to jump on a new set, other than aesthetics. Anyone that did really well with 23' T200 make the move to 250? I'm praying in the same exact build (shaft, grip, length, lie) im not going to sacrifice any launch or spin coming from the 200's.

  15. Wanted to follow up on this, since I finally took the bait of finding a GT3 head on the cheap. Looks, Sound, Feel were all exceptional. I especially like the lines on the face to help aid with alignment and show more loft. Much more of a carbon sound as expected with the new crown/sole and I really enjoyed that. However, turns out a year ago my expectations for what this head was were correct. Popped in my Red TR 6x from my TSR3 into an 11 degree GT3 head, both heads were within a gram of each other with GT3 being 1g lighter. Driver was phenomenal on heel side misses at turning a typical wipey fade into more of a straight ball. For me though, as someone who likes to work the ball both ways the driver was unplayable for my stock shape which is a draw. The ones I try and fade typically end up more of a straight push, and it was very good and maybe 5 yards longer than TSR on those, but the toe side miss was the dreaded low left dive bomber and any ball that turned over fell out of the air even with ProV1X. Tried the CG track in T2, saw no real benefit of change and i think the track on the GT3 being more forward makes moving the weight much more about retaining ball speed on a particular strike more so than changing shape or gear effect. Hit it best with the weight centered. Great head for someone who wants to play a low spin cut and struggles with a heel miss, but ultimately it seems like a move that does what all drivers with a more forward CG do. More ball speed out of the middle, less forgiveness and spin rates that favor an out to in player over someone who plays a right to left ball. TSR3 11 degree T2 back in the bag for now.
