  1. Nothing to do with rear seat comfort, it's more to do with the mechanical bits. A Superb or Leon will typically be Front Wheel Drive based, a C Class or 3 Series will be Real Wheel Drive based, and an A4 is likely to have all the Quattro stuff at the back as well, which eats up boot space. Even a 4wd Superb or Leon will have less mechanical stuff at the back, due to the differences between Quattro 4wd systems and the Haldex stuff in Superbs and Leons. I'm actually quite lucky with my 1 Series, as even though it's Rear Wheel Drive, the saloon style boot means theres a nice wide space behind the suspension turrets etc. If I had a similar generation 1 Series Hatchback, I'd be taking the woods out and struggling to fit my trolley in as well. As it is I have the best of both worlds - a nice golf club friendly boot and drive to the car comes from the correct end 🙂
  2. Still driving a BMW 1 Series Coupé, so basically a 2 door sedan. Motocaddy Aquaflex Hybrid bag and Motocaddy M5 GPS trolley fit in, just with some cleaver packing. Also got room for the battery and a bag full of balls, gloves, shoes etc. Can't fit anything else in with that lot in there, so anything else needs to go in the back seat. However with enough determination you can fit golf clubs in any car. I've seen people fit everything in Porsche Boxsters, Lotus Elises, Ferraris etc.
  3. Still on my TS4 with EvenFlow White 6.5 currently in the D4 setting if I remember right. Most consistent and straightest Driver I've ever had, no real plans to change. I did try a GT4, and gained 1mph ball speed and a couple of yards, although I did prefer the feel. Not really worth £500+ tho....
  4. It's a few years old now, but I'm still finding my 917F3 an absolute cannon, either off a tee or the deck. Easy 240 carry and will roll out a bit more than that if needed. It's actually the club I'll reach for off the tee first unless I've got plenty of space to pull the Driver. Deadly accurate and easy to play a slight draw with - although mine is slightly upright to assist with that. It's got a Rogue Max 75X shaft in it, and it's not leaving the bag unless it breaks - and even then I might just find another off eBay.
