Same here. The faces have definitely worn faster than I expected. My T200 4&5 iron barely show any wear (I know the clubs are different).

I was fit for the same club but turned down to 20.25 and +1/2 inch. Definitely goes high and sits soft. It would be a 3 iron/3 hybrid replacement for me. I haven’t trusted the fitting enough to order it. In a previous fitting I was fit to same setup but with 1k Black 85-S. I haven’t fallen in love with the feel of GT2 so I’ve bought a G440 Max 7W off BST (I play a G430 Max 3w). GT2 will be a backup plan for me if I don’t like the G440.

I’ve seen the 7W heads on some sites are back ordered until mid-August or so. Showed availability on PGASS so I ordered one last Sunday. It’s shown in progress all week. I’ve asked for an update but no response from PGASS so far.

I was fit to GT2 7w but I’ve remained skeptical so I did what almost never works out and ordered a G440 7w with Tour Black. The shaft at least matches my 3w. Still waiting on delivery.

Some have been going with i530 instead of G440 for better looks and very good forgiveness. My guess is @Volnut is correct with his comments.

Oh I probably won’t do the Thriver thing. Assuming the TD is much lower spinning compared to 440 Max? I like the idea of a more point and shoot driver. Some swing work has me looking for a little more launch too. That said the TD is really good. Part of my problem is I’m a Ping fan so I really want to like it.

I bought a G440 LST to start the season but it was just okay for me. After some testing I switched to Elyte 💎💎💎. The Elyte TD is very good and I find it more neutral than when I was fit to the Smoke TD. Today I hit a G430 12 degree almost as a joke but it made me want to revisit the G440 Max. My AOA is up 4-5 so I can be lower spin. I’ll be checking BST/Ebay for one to try. Additionally after hitting the G430 12 degree I think I could do the “Thriver” as a mini driver tee option.
