  1. How does the T250 sole size/width compare to the T200 sole size/width? Is it similar, narrower or wider?
  2. Very much appreciated, thank you. Coincidentally, I would also be ordering them a degree weak as I’m happy with my distance and I have a 7 iron SS of 83mph. Do you feel they’re working as advertised where 7 iron and down are launching with a good descent angle and 8 iron and up are stopping for you nicely? Sounds like the latter is true for you.
  3. I’ve said on here before that the best ever putter that I’ve rolled for short putts was the DJ Spider Tour Black. I rolled my buddy’s Taylormade ZT for 30 minutes or so yesterday on the putting green of our club. I think this could be even better than the Spider Tour Black for me on short putts and while I struggled to lag put effectively with the Spider Tour Black, longer putts felt easier to judge the distance with the ZT.
  4. I’m wondering the same. The 7 iron doesn’t seem to be that spinny going by online reviews but I think that’s by design. I’m assuming from the 8 iron down with the 17-4 face, it’s spins more.
  5. How are you all finding the spin numbers of the short irons of the AI 150? I know that the short irons have the 17-4 face while the longer irons from 7 iron down have the 455 face cup. I’m curious about the short irons as most reviews only hit and show results of the 7 iron the spin seems to be on the low side.
  6. Thank you for this. That surprises me. I really thought that the i240 would have a narrower sole as it is a higher lofted players iron whereas the T250 is a lower lofted players distance iron. How would you compare the performance of these 2 irons? I feel one of these 2 irons could be my next set.
  7. I was thinking I might go with a T150/T250 blended set but since ball striking is my weak point and having less time to practice, I may go with a full set of T250’s. I haven’t seen these in hand yet. Is the sole width of the T250 the same, narrower or wider than the T200?
  8. If someone has been able to compare, is the i240 sole width somewhere in between the Titleist T150 and the T250?

  10. Agreed. I’ve spoken with some of my buddies and we’ve agreed that we’d be much more likely to buy a Lab if the waiting times weren’t so long. That’s not a dig at Lab. I understand that the customer process takes time and no doubt, they currently have many orders to process. As you mentioned, this issue could potentially be solved by working with an OEM that has the infrastructure to produce units at a quicker pace.
  11. I remember reading the threads about that a while back but I never really experienced that. Granted I would use a new ball for each competitive round.
  12. I’m the exact same. My 3 putt avoidance is much higher with a blade. I’m a little better with a mallet form 6 feet in but from 25 feet plus, I’m much better with a blade. There’s a trade off but the blade is a much better option for me.
  13. Great stuff. It’s always nice when you can modernise an older putter and it sounds like it’s performing well for you.
  14. It’s interesting that you said that because a couple of years ago, I also started to use putters without a sight line or if it has a sight line, I cover it up. I can’t consistently aim well with horizontal lines which are on most putters. I primarily use blade/Anser style putters but a brief period with the Taylormade DJ Spider Tour Black putter a while back that has no sight lines made me realise that I aim much better with the vertical line of the putter. Heck, even Tiger was even doing this since the 90’s. He has a sight dot on the top line and no horizontal line on his putter.
  15. Since you already tried different putters, could you try different putter grips? A different profile, shape, size or grip weight might help you out.
  16. I know this may be a long shot here but did anyone notice a measurable difference in testing/fitting when comparing the 2023 T150’s to the new T150’s using the AMT Black S300 shaft?
  17. I switched from the Pro V1X to the Srixon Z Star. As the OP mentioned price, it’s somewhat difficult to justify the Pro V1X price especially if you’re playing quite a lot. In 2023, I had a lesson and we looked at just golf balls and how they performed. I generally need more spin as I don’t produce the optimal RPM. We looked at the Pro V1, Pro V1X, TP5, TP5x, Z Star, Z Star Diamond, Chrome Tour and Chrome Soft. The Z Star and the Pro V1X were the 2 best performing and were producing virtually identical numbers and the Chrome Soft was pretty close too. I discarded the Chrome Soft because I didn’t like the mushy feeling from that ball when putting. The Z Star are better valuable, more durable and I never liked how quickly the Pro V1’s discolour. After a few holes, you can easily identify a Pro V1 from 20 yards or so yards away as it loses its “new” whiteness colour quite quickly. I have no such issues with the Z Star.
  18. A three putt bogey or a three putt double can really kill the momentum but I’m going with driver. Since I picked up the PING G430 Max 10K driver, I’ve given up a touch of distance but I am virtually in play every hole due to its accuracy. It has been a game changer for me.
  19. I know how to order one, thanks. When I said I built one and hadn’t pulled the trigger, I meant that I customised one but didn’t click order. When I asked you, how do you find the long neck Soto, I meant, how does it feel and roll for you? My apologies, I should’ve phrased my question differently. I’ve never rolled a long neck Anser/blade style before so was curious as to how it feels compared to the standard plumber’s neck Soto.
  20. Yup, there’s a 10g increase in the headweight between 35 inches, 34 inches and 33 inches and below. I’m assuming that it’s the 34 inch that has a headweight of 355g and the 35 and the 33 inch are 10g lighter and 10g heavier respectively but I'm open to correction.
  21. How do you find the long neck Soto? I’ve built one on the MyTP a few times but never pulled the trigger.
  22. I‘m gutted that these aren’t available here in Europe. A lot of people are going to do a Titleist T150 vs AI 150 head to head but relatively, the T150 vs the X Forged Max would be a much closer apples to apples head to head comparison.
  23. Through a google search, I can’t seem to find it again but I think I read last year that his Spider is 35.5 inches long and has a headweight of 343g. This is considerably lighter than the stock weight of the Spider X headweight of 355g. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the headweight of 343g information can’t be looked up or sourced anymore. Taylormade probably know that people will want the Spider X in Scottie’s exact specs and it would probably cost them millions to produce these 343g heads and many people will probably feel that the 343g headweight feels too light and hence, will probably not sell mass units. If that’s the business mindset, I get it,
  24. I remember my fitter telling me back in 2023 that the standard lie of Titleist irons is 1 degree upright compared to other OEM’s. I was always previously fit into irons with a standard lie angle. I went 1 degree flat for my 2023 T150’s.
