  1. Hard for me to understand how playing winning golf is considered boring. I'm pretty sure there are at least 149 other professionals on the PGA Tour that would love to be playing winning golf as consistently as Scottie.
  2. I'm thinking that this newly discovered interstellar object (comet?) may be the discovery of the year. Can't wait till it gets closer and scientists can put all the resources available onto it and get some really good close-ups of it.
  3. Well, maybe they can point it up to the Apollo 14 landing site to see if it was a couple of Top-Flite balls that Alan Shepard hit.
  4. One of the tenets of golf is that it's expected to teach integrity and honesty. I would have given the kid a chance to call a penalty (unplayable lie) on himself and if he didn't I would have found an official.
  5. Well done Scottie, the other winner on today's final was the golf course itself.
  6. By far "The Open Championship" is the highlight of the year on my golfing calendar. And having it in Portrush this year is just icing on the cake.
  7. Absolutely wonderful exhibition of golf. To win by finishing eagle, birdie (with a penalty stroke), eagle...unbelievable. I honestly don't think anyone, anywhere has had a more dramatic finish to win. And let's not forget the "amateur" Lottie Woad who won the Women's Irish Open just last week, she was sitting on the clubhouse lead at 13 under while Kim & Thitikul battled their way to 18.
  8. I know how he feels to have the airlines lose both luggage and clubs.
