What did LPGA fans think of the cameos? And the movie?
I have just one small gripe about the film as it relates to women's golf. You can't tell the story of golf in the last 30 years without Korean Women's Golf so I feel like they could have been represented. Korean golfers may be too conservative for a film like Happy Gilmore, I don't know. If that's the case then maybe you make sure Wie West is in the film. Or Lydia Ko. This is assuming they weren't asked. And both probably should have been asked even without their ties to S Korea. I think an easy way to do it would have been to incorporate a them in a scene at a golf simulator (assuming it doesn't mess with the last part of the film). They probably could have made the Paige scene at a simulator instead of like a Dick's and had some fun interaction as Happy is entering or leaving.
I also wonder if Annika was offered a part, because you also can't tell the story of golf for the last 30 years without her.
