  1. Any pics of 925 Forged in blacks after some wear and tear? I have been waiting on an order for 925F's in satin since mid-June, but Mizuno is essentially saying "delayed due to tariffs". However, they do have the 925F's in black in stock. The order is for my kid who does like the black color. So either switch to the blacks, which I am not opposed assuming the wear and tear seems OK, or find a used set of satin color ones (maybe even just get the 923F's used) or just go find another iron outright (Titleist, Srixon, Hogan, TM, etc...). I have had experience with "black" irons before when I owned the Cleveland TA5's in "gunmetal" back in the early 2000's. Just curious how these 925F's are holding up in black. Thanks in advance.
  2. Well, I'm not sure if Mizuno is just trying to set expectations, but have now received an update that the 925F's are backordered till the middle of August. The response from Mizuno hints that "Sadly with supply chain and tariffs the expected arrival of the heads keeps being delayed when things change, once we receive the heads those clubs will go into production shortly after and ship out." are delaying the shipment of the clubheads. Sounds like the clubheads are all manufactured but just sitting there. I'm probably going to cancel the order at this point and go find some used irons. Or Maybe Srixon's instead. Bummer.
  3. The good news: Mizuno JPX 925 Forged irons are in high demand. That likely means they are a really solid club. No guarantees, but likely. The bad news: Just received news today that we will not be receiving our clubs until closer to August 10th. Originally, it had been July 18th that a new shipment of 925F heads would be arriving at Mizuno for assembly with delivery around 10 days later. Now, delivery of new heads is stated as July 31st with delivery 10 days later.
  4. If you are trying to complete the career grand slam, would you rather it be: 1. Like Rory with the Masters as the final trophy? 2. Like Scottie with the US Open as the final trophy? Good to see Scottie working on his on course and celebration charisma. Still needs work.
