  1. Bent weak they are lovely. I swing it around 95 mph with 7i and I'm not the highest spin guy. I have them weak by a degree and MMT 105TX shafts. Mine is a big combo 245 4-5, 243 6-7, 241 8-PW. Best set I've owned. Over the last year (played 243 full set at the end of season and moved to this combo this year) I've had maybe 15 under par rounds with them and they've been really consistent. I like the blades in the 8-PW as they have a touch less offset and thinner soles but was happy with the full set of them too. Just really solid sticks.
  2. Mint set I’m just happy with my current combo in the same specs. These were played once. Standard Mizuno specs just a degree flat. PW and 4 in wrapper. As a bonus I’ll include 7 new matching grips for your set. The 7i has a gripmaster on it but I can switch it for the same grip - MCC midsize blue before shipping if you’d like. One of the softest feeling irons I’ve hit. MMT 105TX for me plays identical to DG 120 X100 just feels better if you haven’t hit it. Shipping from Ontario for $old. No trades.
  3. I’d agree with that though I find that much more with iron shafts than driver shafts. Weight plays into it too. I tried my buddy’s TR black 7x and could not turn that thing over if I tried.
  4. I played black 6x for a while and was fit into Blue 6x tipped an inch this year. Velocore shafts all have a very distinct impact feel which is kind of hard to describe that no other shafts really have - Blue retains that. It feels smoother throughout, more active in the handle and middle but with mostly the same feel through the hit. They're quite a bit easier to turn over than black and you can see a touch more launch and spin on the ball. If your miss is hard left you'll likely do better in the black. I'm considering going back to black as I was cruising in the low 160s for ball speed when I did the fitting and didn't have a big lead leg push. I did some speed and mechanics work and I'm now cruising in the low 170s and I don't like the odd left miss that can come in as it's super penal. I like a flat fade and I think the Black excels at that. That said you see guys like Chef Min Woo who swing it at a buck 30 in a Blue 6x without trouble so who knows 🤷‍♂️
  5. Highly likely you aren’t loading the shaft enough. IMO you need to be 120+ with driver to play 130x CT effectively. I’ve played them soft stepped and they give me good numbers but I actually spin them more than x100 because I hit a lot of off speed irons and you want to be minimum of high 90s with a 7i for the CT 130.
  6. There are certain spots on the shaft that they’re more likely to warranty. Unfortunately where you are mentioning is unlikely and the reason is that when people get pissed off and throw a club at their bag or hit their bag with a club, it creates a weak point and that’s where they snap. I only know this because I watched it happen first hand and that’s what they said. I’m not saying that’s what happened here, they just have rules for spots on the shaft that they’ll warranty AND you got it secondhand.
  7. 1. Much better through the turf - way less grab after the ball but still very able to get to the back of it due to the preworn leading edge 2. Offset is blended better so even though it’s the same on paper it looks lower 3. Top line slimmer and higher toe so they look a tickle more upright in a good way 4. Softer feel than the 919 5. I’m getting as much speed at 34 degrees compared to 32 degree 243 7i
  8. I’d second this. So incredibly soft. Really loved the look at address. I really liked the long irons. If I did it again I think it would have been KT 4 iron, 5-6 CB, and 7-Pw MB. The soles are way too wide on the short irons for me.
  9. The Z forged actually have quite a bit as do the blueprint S. the T have almost none. The Wilson MB is nice although I don’t love how round the PW is. the best suggestion here is the Cobra CB as it is actually decently forgiving and has no visual offset at all really.
