  1. Do an internet search for: WHERE ARE GOLF BALLS MADE? It'll bring up The MGS website that has all the info.
  2. RCD 2x vs Portrush for me. I’ve played the Valley at Portrush, nice but no comparison to the Dunluce.
  3. Concierge golf. Trip was good. https://www.conciergegolfireland.com/about-golf-ireland/
  4. According to their website those shafts are taper tip. So no trimming taper shafts. If the deal is that good , use the 5-PW shafts and buy another wedge shaft for your GW.
  5. Lexus ES 350. Large bag fits fine. ‘71 Volvo 1800E, with no spare tire, ping hoofer fits, large bag no.
  6. Driver. If you’re irons are working well, no need to chase improvement. It’s been said that if your driver is more than 5 years old, you can benefit from newer technology.
  7. There’s a subforum for website help. A mod checks in there regularly to answer questions.
  8. The way I read @Howard_Jones first post is that you should add tape at the shaft’s balance point, not the whole club SW balance point. Hoping Howard will clarify that.
  9. Suggest you contact True Temper directly.
  10. Another option is to search out independent club makers and research who is good, reviews etc. being in a major city there has to be a few. You could post on here with your general location and ask for suggestions etc.
  11. Another PGASS fail, you never know who’s working on your clubs there. Yes, learn to do it yourself. It’s not very difficult once you know how.
  12. It’s now in the for sale archive. Don’t know how it got there. Please move it back to Club Techs, pinned. Thanks.
  13. The definition of course: “The entire area of play within the edge of any boundaries set by the Committee.” Penalty areas are part of the Course. Penalty areas and the course are not mutually exclusive If the ball is touching the course it’s in the course, and it would be in one of the 5 areas: “The five defined areas that make up the course: The general area, The teeing area the player must play from in starting the hole they are playing, All penalty areas, All bunkers, and The putting green of the hole the player is playing.”
  14. All the major manufacturers , and many others make “decent” clubs. You really need to be fit properly , which is another topic. Clubs don’t “last” any particular amount of time. Technology can change , yes, but they’re hitting the limits on technological improvements. Once properly fit, the clubs can last a lifetime - Providing you don’t improve, your swing speed doesn’t change, you don’t get injured, etc. Or wear them out, which takes far more golf and practice than the average golfer does.
