  1. @Argonne69: Glad to see In Gee will be playing the weekend, after completing R2 strongly with a birdie-birdie finish (fingers crossed... the projected Cut Line = "+1" currently ... but TV commentators on the World Feed seem confident that the cut line will slip to "+2" ... which would mean Lydia Ko also plays the weekend )
  2. @Rapidcat perhaps only of interest to you /me/ other football (soccer) followers … via John Hopkins (a Welshman & guest on the AIGWO Radio) … the Welsh rugby equivalent to the phrase “Can he do it on a cold rainy Tuesday night in Stoke?” (context= Nelly Korda doesn’t have her A-game at the moment… but found a way to get a decent score in R1) = “Can he/she do it on a cold, wet and windy Welsh pitch”?
  3. @DuenPhen what would the Thai equivalent expletive/ exclamation-of-despair? I often hear “Mai Pen Rai” (ไม่เป็นไร) but I think that’s meant more as “Relax /Chill / It’s ok/ No worries/ Never mind” …or as a passive-aggressive “I disagree to do what you’ve asked… but I won’t say so explicitly “
  4. @18majors if you managed to listen from beginning of today’s broadcast… Did you catch the names of radio commentators? eg I see their tweet mentions Sue Thearle and Flic (Felicity) Johnson… but I’m guessing Richard Kaufman (regular DPWT) and Sophie Walker (ex-LET) and Alison Nicholas (ex-LET, not Whitaker) right now… Earlier on, there was another pair (Michelle Thompson(??) a current LET player & maybe Iain Carter? And a “Marcus” lurking around, and John Hopkins (Global Golf Post/ ex-Times UK/ a Welshman 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and member of Royal Porthcawl) , and another American who isn’t Big Randy from NoLayingUp) who were arguing the relative +’s and -‘s of the local Welsh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 sausages 🌭 they had for breakfast.
  5. @pga43 @atursky @knudson81 @GolfWRX_Spotted Hoping you have more LPGA WITB videos soon In the meantime... we're having to rely on Iona Stephens series of LPGA WITB videos ... Iona might be a gear-head worthy of a GolfWRX collab (ie video is quite detailed) ! As enjoyable as Tursky's epic "Scenes from Portrush" video.
  6. Seems like Ariya Jutanugarn is playing whilst hurt (Lots of KT tape / strapping on her wrists)
  7. The quiet moments in this behind-the-scenes = Quite interesting (to me) e.g. Jenny Shin diligently doing bunker practice & trying to ensure difficult lies / testing the practice sand bunkers ("hard bottom, fluffy on top" = demands a slightly different technique?
  8. By contrast... the World Feed commentators (Laura Davies, Catriona "Beanie" Matthew, Ali Whitaker, Trish Johnson, Iona Stephen) were quite listenable ... even when they were having a vigorous debate on "Whether they were Pro-Hug/ Anti-Hug/ when did all this hugging-instead-of-handshakes to complete the round happen, on the LPGA Tour" (Dame Laura Davies and Beanie = firm handshake, anti-hug; They "blamed" Trish Johnson as one of the pioneers of the hugging movement)
  9. Champions of the "Mimi Rhodes fan club" ( @PhilWhitUK) "Auston Kim Fan Club" ( @postfold) and "Linn Grant Fan Club" ( @Jonnyuk74) = presumably are excited (but petrified of jinxing their favourite player) (All currently at 3-under, T4, albeit haven't yet completed their rounds) ... Am apprehensive to mention InGee Chun (also 3-under) ... for fear of jinxing/ incurring the wrath of the head of Flying Dumbos (USA chapter) @Argonne69 ... nice to see InGee playing well & getting TV coverage! 🤞
  10. Isn't Swansea the nearest larger town? The World Feed showed some "B-Roll" footage of Swansea Bay and mentioned Swansea town/ city ...edit: Answer found via google
  11. Your discussion w.r.t. nudists = reminds me of @Rapidcat's memorable contribution
  12. The World Feed is a pleasant listen, for folks who enjoy the following Scottish accents (with one American): Andrew Cotter (Lead presenter) "Beanie" Catriona Matthew OBE Iona Stephen Christina Kim
  13. @Jonnyuk74 Just listened to a long-ish interview with Linn Grant, on the AIG Women's Open Live Radio ... you might like to check whether you can find the same interview via the BBC Sounds App in the UK (with Sophie Walker/ Big Randy from NoLayingUp) i.e. the AIGWO Live Radio is a collab/ co-livestreamed/ audio-on-demand, on BBC Sounds/ iPlayer. (i can't provide you the exact updated Link, from outside the UK ... due to recent geo-fencing/ BBC budget cuts) 5 Live Sport?
