  1. How to below. You might scroll around their site to see if your specific question can be answered. https://www.pga.org/uploads/path-to-membership/3.1_Associate_At_A_Glance_2024.pdf
  2. Sweet! Well done! Never thought about that. I have my own repair shop so keeping the boys and other juniors fit was always fun. I learned that buying good quality heads was the way to go and then either add extensions or replace shafts was usually best. One of my sons went from a R shaft to X shaft in under six months. Can get expensive but usually had other kids needing shafts too so could recycle them. Some parents were buying new clubs yearly! Each their own.
  3. Cutting down a putter will be fine. Might want to make it 1/2" or so longer than what he measures out. They grow really fast! Also, get an extra putter shaft for when it gets too short for him. Hard to find extensions that small but can be done with alteration. Usually, just easier to replace the shaft. Of course he'll probably find a new shiny putter in a couple of years though that he can't do without. My experience with my two boys.
  4. My son played with him in PGA Jr. League and he was already a rock star at 10yrs. old. Looked and played like a little pro even then. It was amazing.
  5. Pulling for our two S. Ga, players Trace Carter and Mason Howell, Mason did great in the stroke play but unfortunately lost today. Trace birdied last two holes to remain one up. Wow. Was two down at the turn. ,
  6. Should be good to go, only way to find out is to play. If it feels so bad, you should get a new shaft. Maybe see what they can do for you.
  7. Yeah, I used to hit it so far it was out of sight too! Now I measure my drives in feet and can see that it went nowhere. 😁
  8. Got cataract surgery a couple years ago with implants. Can see the ball now with no problems like I could when I was 18. My wife didn't have cataracts but also got implants and it has solved her eye problems.
  9. No use in getting fit at this stage. Ask your teaching pro's opinion on a few questions such as shaft stiffness and weight, grip size, length and lie. Really rather simple unless you physique is extraordinary. This will be sufficient enough info to buy you a used set, imo Pings (G400 or newer series, irons and woods) as they are for all type of golfers and are high quality and you would be proud to have them in your bag. They might last you for a lifetime unless you like new shiny things, then you could get fit when you are consistently breaking 85. But then you will not have any excuses. Welcome to the crazy world of golf!
  10. Lol, I've never played a Joe Lee design that needed more bunkers! That would be a first for me.
