I’m looking to get a new broomstick. Most are 45”. I would feel more comfortable if it was a little shorter. Does it make sense to keep it at 45” and choke down a little, or cut it off to 44”. Additionally, I see that some pros put their thumb on the end cap, while others choke down a little and grip it with all of their fingers. Thoughts?

I have read the info on the Lab website about the Accra, Gears and TPT shafts. My search hasn’t revealed much good information/reviews comparing the three. Any pearls will be appreciated.
