Loft for loft, I’d say the Ping flies a bit higher for me with a bit less spin. Forgiveness is phenomenal for being the “low spin” head. I like being able to move the back weight of the Ping side to side. It makes a noticeable difference.

It’s a mythical place east of Phoenix

I figure anything within a degree is perfectly acceptable from a manufacturer. I don’t even bother hitting a new club until getting loft/lie checked.

It’s a lot of work tracking Gerald’s score and I decided on the 1st tee that I didn’t care. Great guy though! -

I tee it pretty low unless I’m trying to draw it.

I went low again. If it was ever possible to be disappointed with a 64… 7 under through 11 and I started thinking about the course record lol -

For me? “Get left and get your arms down.” -
The funny thing is it’s on the glove hand. It’s not the only one, but the only one that ever hurts. Golfers with tape on their fingers is normal. I start wondering about the guy with band-aids 😜
-
I get one on my left index finger. I just tape it.

Is my dad your FIL? 😂 Into the wind or there’s a hanging tree branch from 150 yards… Guys in my group put an 8 or 9 iron back in their stance and karate chop it. I take a 7 iron that I hit 185 and just swing short and easy.
-
It’s the only good way I’ve found to change my swing and it’s a shot I use on the course all the time.
-
That is awesome lol

Working on this stuff has made a massive difference with my game. Especially when playing in the wind.

I live in Phoenix and walk most courses if it’s below 100° while I’m out there. It keeps me in good shape for the days that are actually hot 😜 There isn’t any magic to it. Be hydrated, be in the shade while you wait. I keep Liquid IV packets in my bag. The hardest part for me is making myself eat. I’m just not hungry when it’s 110° and it catches up to me by the end of the round if I don’t force down some food.

I assumed like 90% of right handed golfers were right eye dominant -
Faster ball speeds hitting DOD than when tee’d

What’s your AoA with the ball teed up? -
One day I got to the course and realized my lie angle felt off. I had it checked later that day and it was 2° flat. Sh!t happens.

Thanks, yeah it was the back tee. I tend to land it in the face of that hill and it stays there, but there was a little breeze and it flew up top. Holed a sand wedge. -

GIR and putting skills ? Feels? on / off days?
Sean124 replied to Saijin's topic in Instruction & Academy
If I have 4 birdie putts from 10-20 feet I expect to make 1. Making 2 is a great day with the putter. Some days none of them go in. Tour average from 100-125 is 20 feet. This seems like it could just be an issue of managing expectations.
