I wouldn't say the Nickel's are super light. Mine is noticeably heavier than my bronze slotted Anser and my copper Anser 2 models. The Nickel (35 inch) swingweights the same as my Scotty Cameron Special Select Newport and is just a few grams lighter. I'm somewhat captivated by the thought of a $60 putter (30 years ago) playing as well as a $400 one.

My wife has a pair of Footjoy Premiere's and has no problem walking 18 holes. I'd guess she would say something if her feet had any issues.

I have two nickel Scottsdale Ansers. One has the A in the cavity and the other has nothing. Curious if anyone has ever seen a B or C mark in the cavity. Anyway, both of my putters look identical and feel the same. Amazingly soft and durable material. My Ansers are over 25 years old and look in better shape than my two-year-old Scotty Cameron.

I bought an Elite this past weekend and it’s very easy to use. Course updates are a snap. It has all the useful features (including slope). $200 is a good deal.

For anyone using the Bushnell Ion Elite watch how easy is it to do course updates? I’m interested in getting one and I like to keep the courses I play current. Thanks for any help.

After reading the responses I called Ping back today for clarification. Golf Pride did not purchase Superstroke. The person I spoke with yesterday was incorrect.

As a longtime fan of Ashworth clothing, I am glad they are back in business. Is John Ashworth running it again? I remember last year seeing an ad for them with Fred Couples but it only ran once so I thought I may have been mistaken. When Ashworth went out of business several years ago I stocked up on about 30 shirts from TGW. Paid between $15 and $25 for each. After getting an email from Ashworth about two months ago I placed an order with them (didn’t hurt that they included a 30% off coupon). The shirts showed up at my door three days later. I’ve since placed two more orders and again - quick, FREE (if order is over $100) delivery. In comparing their latest shirts to the ones I purchased several years ago the new gear seems to be of much higher quality. Is Linksoul the company that a couple years ago mailed out their info/ad/flyer/magazines to golfers? When I looked through the flyers I recall saying their apparel seemed very pricey.

I was talking to Ping support yesterday as I will be ordering new clubs soon. In discussing grip availability the person told me that Golf Pride had just purchased Superstroke (Lamkin). Anyone aware of this?

I’m not familiar with Vortex rangefinders or have any idea how long they have been in business. However I can’t see them being around long if they continue with a lifetime warranty. My guess is that will change in the next couple years.
