As a retired Police Officer I 100% agree. Alcohol is a BIG problem and it gets ignored. When was the last time a video was posted with people baked fighting vs alcohol? Never.

24 Ford Bronco. Everything fits in the back no problem.

McCabe is looking great lately. The wet summer has been a huge benefit. There are still some tee boxes that are bare, but I heard they were going to do some improvements next spring. The fact that I can get a tee into the ground without a hammer in July is a bonus!

You sir are CORRECT! (As I was told the exact same thing today at my lesson) I am currently following this method and hope to see better drives soon!

Some older drivers (2002-2012) still wrapped up from a move 5 years ago. Everything else is inside my work room.

Where are you going/playing?

I would join that in a heartbeat. Great idea. I have taken my practice into the PGA Superstore during this heat wave. An indoor chipping range would be ideal. If I win the lottery its open asap!

Have you ever fell out of love with the game?
TNwanabe replied to Kingdog's topic in General Golf Talk
So true. Funny how it works. -
Stop sanding them down. It will cause a reaction and make it worse. I suggest less range time and more chipping/putting. Make the chipping/putting a 3 X a week instead of full shots. Take some time off as well. Too much is not good.

THe day will come when you injure yourself whilst sleeping. Some days I wake up hurt...........

Did the same thing but was laying a brick patio. I already had bad elbows from work but I thought I could still manage. Gripping brick after brick probably 2 thousand times did me in. I had to have PRP treatment and 2 years later I still have problems.

Once a white ball goes into the sky I lose it pretty often. I use yellow for this reason. I suspect that is why you see yellow used on the senior tour as well. Getting old is no fun on some levels.

If I see one I am buying it.

Westhaven is really nice. It is on the other side of the hill from where our stable is. Have you looked at Hillwood CC? It was completely redone last year and is in amazing condition.

46/PW Srixon v-sole Vs specialist wedge -partial swings
TNwanabe replied to Tallballer's topic in Equipment
I normally just automatically pull the "Extra" wedge out of a set I purchase and use a specialty wedge but the Srixon A wedge is amazing. I use it the same way you do and it is money. Lesson learned: Try it before I judge it as insufficient. -
So many beginners, like me, simply do not know the difference and put out $$$$ and never improve. It wasnt until I learned more about the swing on my own and going to different instructors, that I realized how bad the instruction I was getting actually was. What a waste of time and money.

Heat and humidity can really sap the mind and body. I drink water and Gatoraide while I play. I drink 2 large waters and 1 bottle of GA per side. I on the really bad days I need to use a rain glove on my off hand just to keep the club from slipping. I usually do not play well on the really hot days just because it seems more like a battle of will over just playing golf lol.

Excellent. Every so often we do a bug dumpster cleanout and I feel like I am minimalist living.......then it starts over again lol

I currently have 21 wedges of different types. I do not think I am a hoarder but maybe I am.

Good grief!!! In the height of summer!!! Its a shame they use all the $ from the range and put it in the general fund instead of back into the course with lower fees, better facilities and more pay for the employees. Instead, it just gets flushed into the system never to be seen again. The range at McCabe is packed every day too. I heard they are making a better range at Ted Rhoads as well and will be doing the same thing.
