I had asked Cobra a while back about the MyFly (pre-adapt) adaptors and they said the only thing that is reverse is the lofts. How I picture it is that the LH and RH adaptor is the exact same physical part, just that they print the reverse information on LH vs RH. Standard is the flattest setting it can go, and then whether it is a RH or LH driver spinning the shaft 180 degrees moves the shaft into the most upright (draw) position.
You playing a RH "STD DRAW" is the equivalent to a LH "STD DRAW", while you playing a RH "+1.0 DRAW" is equivalent to a "-1.0 DRAW". Where this adjustment may be messing with your shot is that when you decrease loft it opens the club face so it can exaggerate a slice from that aspect.
