  1. I forgot to mention that it was good to see on Sunday one of my fellow club members who is also the Chairman of the R&A Rules Committee with Scottie after the round.
  2. You should read what I said more carefully if that statement was aimed at me sir.
  3. You have no idea of my "values" as a person at all. And ones values are not the same as an opnion which is what I was sharing. Yesterday the post round interview was dire but that's mainly down to Sarah Stirk on SKY for us UK watchers as she's hopeless. I'd agree that Scottie does have some interesting comments to make but only with an interviewer who actually asks decent, searching questions of him. Taking yesterday as an example at The Open I didn't see SS engage with the vast gallery once. Everytime he reached into the cup to retrieve his ball (irrespective of whether it was a par/birdie or whatever) he just walked away, head down and without a flicker of emotion or recognition of the gallery. That obviously works for him and his game/career but it doesn't endear his to those of us who ultimately pay his salary in some small way. There are many, many other players I'd pay good money to watch and SS would never be on that list.
  4. He disturbed my Sunday afternoon snooze in front of the TV with that double bogey. Normal service was resumed 5 minutes later
  5. All of those points are your opinion and I respectfully disagree. He comes over as merely ticking PR tick boxes with zero emotion or gravitas. My biggest issue is his total lack of any engagement with the gallery watching him. He never acknowledges their cheers, applause or congratulations whatsoever or even smiles. He lacks warmth and isn’t in the least bit relatable in my view. And to be honest I found his remarks this week about how just how unfulfilling his golf career or success is to him rather unsavoury and dismissive.
  6. Not correct at all. They all get paid and credits for an amount of watches per annum…..varies on their performance lead contract as brand ambassadors.
  7. My club is Hankley Common Golf Club. And yes, if I do an impression of Tyrell Hatton and throw my 7 iron out of the back door I’ll hit 5/6 great courses on the Surrey and Berkshire sand belt.
  8. Anyone with a) a pulse and/or b) a personality would be a start
  9. Knowing my friends at Rolex they’ll be disappointed he wasn’t wearing a Landweller today instead of a painfully dull Sub LV. And I wonder how his sponsors feel about how unfulfilling he finds their support and pay cheques…….
  10. I mean, really? unless a joke what a crass claim.
  11. At least Jack looked awake. Er, Augusta ‘86 maybe?
  12. At least they were both animated and worked the gallery.
  13. If Scheffler is that unfulfilled by the day job perhaps he would kindly quit so we can enjoy exciting golf once again and not some robotic and dreary snore fest of a procession? Easy to admire him but jeez it’s like watching paint dry so I’m turning off the TV now.
  14. I’d prefer to watch 6 hours live stream of someone scraping their nails down a blackboard
  15. Losing luggage is a BA forte, world class even.
