  1. The most important thing is that you are healthy. If you can check that box then the next step is : Watch this one minute Bryson video... and focus on the 3 moves. (especially # 1 and 3 at first) https://www.instagram.com/reel/DBy6sujxf79/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA%3D%3D I have been able to increase my adult kids speed 7-10 mph in half an hour using this method solely. (and now I am cruising at >120 at 58) I have zero doubt I would have you over 100 in a half hour.
  2. I had a super long lay off as well -20 ish years and am a few years older. The fountain of youth can exist... Sounds like you have the game and know your swing (which is more than most) the 4 things I would focus on: get more speed get more speed get more speed and then short game. and then you may attain your goals with hard work Absolutely ZERO reason your swing speed (or anyone for that matter) can't be over 100
  3. Thank you .. I did the online fitting and it said the 15hi . I will reach out to TPT.. Bryson can do anything he wants including hitting little kids clubs and whatever(a talented dude).. I cant. Large grips= controlled face for me. the grips have been a game changer. I will check out the pings -I dont dig the TM (I have a qi10 also) - its just that I cant really test them without my grips. Unless i want to hit 10 straight hooks.
  4. Have questions for the guys at TPT or who use TPT shafts. Considering getting a new Driver and 3W and arming them with the TPT nitro. Which heads ?- are also a great question... I tried the online TPT fitting and basically it put me into a 15 hi but I have no idea/clue The shafts are so $$$ that I really don't want to take a gamble on it. A couple of things right now: -I use JMAX grips (large size for woods and XS for Irons) it is becoming impossible to basically test anything because I absolutely need these grips (especially the large grips on the woods) in order to get a clue- its not apple to apples anymore. -I currently have a Krank fire pro 7.5 / black ventus TR 6x shaft standard lengths. my 3w - I dont even use it - so forget about it. I "like the driver" -swing speed about 121-124 cruising .. age - lets just say I am 19 (it doesn't really matter but my kids are all in their early- mid 20's so figure that one out) -recently did a TPI fitting in Oceanside. (before the 2025's came out) and though I could kind of test the irons/wedges the woods were a waste of time because they only had the twig grips. -TPI "estimated" this - though this means zilch other than the shaft types as i was hooking all their twig grips while launching my Krank : Driver: GT3 10°Dexterity: RH SureFit Hosel Setting: A-1 SureFit CG Setting: Neutral SureFit Weight: Use Default Length: Standard Shaft: Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Black 75 Shaft Flex: X-Stiff Tip Trim: Standard Grip: Standard Fairway: GT2 15°Dexterity: RH SureFit Hosel Setting: A-1 SureFit Weight: Use Default Length: Standard Shaft: Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Black 85 Shaft Flex: X-Stiff Tip Trim: Standard Grip: Standard basically. 1-what should I get (shaft wise)? 2-what would be a good pairing head wise(driver and 3w possibly mini) to maybe look at? 3- is there any place on earth that I can try these out with JMAx grips? Thank you
  5. Just wanted to say thank you to Phil for posting this video. It literally is a freaking gold mine. Watched it multiple times and took things to heart. Over the past year I have had online lessons with Dan Grieves -who helped me a ton. But just by watching this video (and practicing it) has me almost feeling like - "I can't wait to hit from off the green now" a weird feeling for me.
  6. I did look at Tequesta CC previously and have flipped a home there 2years ago. . Definitely high on the radar for an area that I would like to live and maybe join the golf club. I haven't got a current price on that one though . walked it a few months ago. Range is decent. seems super laid back Of the 3 you mentioned the Hobe Sound seems like a top tier course (gets the "next tier" who can't get into Medalist)...but also the most $$$ They are redoing the clubhouse now. Lost Lake is under renovation and seems to be somewhat "affordable" (I say that word loosely) Turtle creek Is interesting also. Though it was closed when I went there recently. Many do the seasonal rent or snowbird thing. I wish some of these places had a winter membership or something along those lines.. Got a feeling I am just going to end up in Abacoa(live) and try to go that route. I like that course.. practice area is typical public so/so though. we shall see. I will report back in August when I go back.
